Good luck. There are far too many stories from people of all walks and cars about bad and rude cops and not nearly enough about cops actually helping people. I did have a cop help me push my TII that flooded to a gas station a few feet away and he could easily have gotten me for a modded ride. He said he had a 944 Turbo that flooded too so I got lucky!!!! Still more far bad then good. I have a some bad one's that are too much but I thought I would throw out a good one. Most cops are buttholes unfortunately giving the few good ones a really bad rap!!

Exactly. And if you notice non of these happened at the street races they were just idiots in mustang's driving like ******** in resedential areas. Maybe racing a toyota or some thing.

 

The night I bought my FD and was driving home (about 100 miles from where I picked it up) I got pulled over. Was 2 blocks from my house. The car still had old tags(new ones were already in the mail). He dinged me for tags, then no front plate, then tint, then exhaust, then smoked tail lights. Too bad for him, aside from the tint, it was all stock, and the guy I got the car from didn't have a front plate. So all I had to do was pull the crappy tint off(which I had planned on anyway) and show proof of fixing it all. Was a real waste of time, and in all cost me about 40$.

So yea, I feel your pain about stupid cops. I get pulled over in my Evo(daily) at least once a month for absolutely nothing, I don't get tickets, I just get bored cops trying to find something to ticket me about. Profiling is teh suck.

Smoked taillights? Cops are retarded. this reminds me of the time my friend got pulled over in his MR2 for evading the police, but he denied it, and said it wasn't him. When the cop asked him to prove it, he said 'feel my hood, it's still cold,' The cop felt it, and bought it. FRIGGIN MR2.

So the only times you guys run into cops is when you're in troubble, other than that you see some guy driving bye on a motorcycle or in a squad car... now he might notice you, and say to himself "Nah, he seems allright" does he get props from you, saying that that was a cool cop ? No, why ? You didn't even know about it. And how often does a cop go, DAMN ! I'm gonna get that guy, bother to flip a bitch. chase after your sorry ***, just to go, you're a real nice kid, I'll let you go ??

With that statement, know this I'm not an officer, I don't have any officers in the family, and I work as a Artist/Technitian for a local company. I'm just trying to reason with you guys, and make you realize that your perspective is skewed...

As much as it sucks to be profiled, and pulled over, everyone can change the situation by selling their car, driving slower, or all of the above, and a cop is much less likely to pull over a camry making an illegal left, unless that's what he's there for... trffic duty.... don't make yourself a target and you'll be allright.... it's you guys with wings and exhaust, and body kit etc... that makes yourselves a target...

Ya know, i drive very mildly on the street, and do prolly 80-90(wich is speed of traffic in sacramento) most the time on the freeway.. My car is very much stock. I have no wing, and i should not be profiled because im young. I drive prolly 1000+ miles a week for buisness, i see more old people in accidents than i do younger people.

Cops are generaly dicks. COPS DO NOT PROTECT AND SERVE...

My nieghbor had her house broken into last week, she had 3 laptops, 2 TV's her car keys (and car in the garage) all of her jewlry stolen. She called the cops, a single cop came out, looks around, and told her all they could do is file a police report. She asked him if they were going to fingerprint, and he told her it would cost too much money. Not for her... for the police.

a few months ago, a friend of mine, his parents were out of town, his brother a 8 year marine was in town. While his parents were outa town, his fathers truck was stolen, and hit another car in the driveway at the same time. Cop comes out and accuses them of crashing the truck into the car, and hiding it, so they dont get in trouble.... straight up tells them they are lieing.. 2 days later the truck is found driving around by the man who stole it.


Cops are simply around to protect people who are rich. Buisness's that make large amounts of money or if theres footage of the person who robbed them.

A cops job is to make money for the state. I pay my fair share of tax's and in my driving time, ive paid over $8500 in tickets, most of wich are for stupid ****. Ive been in 1 accident, and it wasnt my fault, somebody hit me from behind.

Ive been pulled over IN my driveway, Ive been pulled over while getting into my car at a gas station, Ive been hassled by cops while sitting ON my car in parkinglots. I had my car impounded because the court RANDOMLY suspended my liscense, they waived my ticket for suspended liscense, but i still had to pick up the impound fees. I have so many stupid tickets its gone from funny to not funny to funny again.

I dont dress ghetto, I dont beat my wife, i dont do drugs. Im VERY polite, and respectfull when i talk to cops at my window. ****, Im a nerd, i fix computers, and run my own buisness.

I SHOULD NOT have to sell my car for something less eye catching, just so i dont get pulled over. My car isnt chopped together, everything on it is cleanly done.


The accidents caused by street racing make up at most 1% of all accidents. Most accidents because of racing now-a-days is from drifting, and thats minor single car damage usualy.

They should let of ricing and maybe go after people with harleys that i can hear from 10 miles away... there 100x's louder than my car at its loudest.

Cops are on a hardcore power trip i think. the whole justice system needs a little adjusting.

i'm 50/50 on this one. when i still had my rx-7 w/ full pacific IMSA GTU body kit in 'pull-me-over-now-red' i never really got hassled by the cops and i live in the heart of Los Angeles. matter of fact, couple of cops said "nice car, buddy" -- in reply, "thank you officer" and just went our own ways. i'm not gonna lie, but i was shtting my pants right when he was just behind me eyeing my car.

i just don't like the fear imposed mentality that a lot including myself has now as a byproduct of the constant negativity that the cops produce.

of course, not all cops are pigs nor dicks. just some, right? eyyy!
