i got a damn ticket of 70mph in a 65mph highway

stupid CHP just gave me a ticket of 70mph ticket on a 65 mph highway on my way to communte to work couple days ago
and i wasn't driving recklessly
he claimed that i was on the fast lane and i have merge to the 2nd lane to pass them so i am speeding what a dump analyis
do you guys think i should take this to court and try to fight that? or just take that and go to traffic school? anyone has some input or had similar experience?

claim that you have to get you speedo calibrated, and then pay to do that, and they'll calk it up to a faulty gauge...

just received my notice of bail yesterday and it is a 194.75 ticket
i am pretty sure i am taking this to court on this one
i need to keep a clean record to drive an ambulance

for 5 over the speed limit? you must have been doing somthing else wrong. no way it can be that high for 5 over the limit.

no nothing dump at all
i have to keep a clean driving record to drive an ambulance

and when i told him the ticket will affect my employment and he just said you can go to traffic school (which will still pop up in a background check) can those stupid CHP (not all because i met many who are cool) go get something better to do beside writing up ticket to those who are driving safe and resonable

You went 5 mph over the limit, so of course you're going to get pulled over. You broke the law and the cop caught you.

That's why you need to do 95 mph, because then they'll have to do 110 to catch you...and that is highly unlikely.

Sounds about right.

Good luck fighting it. If you win, I would reccomend using the money you saved to buy a decent radar detector. Mine has saved me more times than I can count. Also, keep an eye on those mirrors!
