huge checkpoint in pasadena

I just got off fairoaks heading north off the 110 and just saw the hugest police check point I have ever seen! Like 20 plus cops at the check point, and then another 20 cops down the way ready to grab anyone who turned around. So beware if ur in pasadena stay clear passed california on fairoaks heading south toward the 110, huge. Huge HUGE checkpoint

Sure it's not a border partol stop. Or a DUI checkpoint. Cops don't usually have checkpoints for illegals.

If they do, they just ship them over to Arizona and we take it from there

40 cops at a checkpoint? Thats crazy. I could understand 5 cop cars on 4th of July weekend at a checkpoint, but why 40 cops at one point?

HAAA.. Was headed Southbound on Fair Oaks last nite after the taco truck, which was after a few pitchers at Barneys. Made a right to use Fremont instead.

sry, dont know what the checkpoint was for, didnt bother asking. Just thought anyone in the area should know, as it didnt look random, looked like they were checking everyone. Had huge light shining on the drivers too. I had never seen any check point like it before.

I got busted at that exact DUI checkpoint for a burned out license plate bulb. Give me a break. To make matters worse, my driver's license had been expired for 3 months. Any idea what the fine is for this (I went on Monday and immediately renewed it)? The ticket says that this is a misdemeamor offense.

Get ur license renewed b4 u see the judge. Have a buddy who got pulled over in his brothers car, car had expired plates, like 3 weeks. He also left his license and insurance in his car. Had he not shown the judge that he had a license and. Insurance, his fine would have been around 2g's!! But he walked away with dismissal fees only.

I don't like drunks either, but you morons needs to set checkpoint up around 11:30PM and run it til 2am, not 9PM!! Who the hell is going home THAT early?!

some of the jokes get repetitive if you see them in every other post or topic.

Sad time when they have to devote so many cops to tackle money problems.
