Last year we did it on 6-24. This year i would like to shoot for the 14th-15th of june at Dockwieler state beach, west of LAX. I has the easist parking set up and is someone central and dont forget the fire pits!!!

Couple of things....

No way on 4th of July...too many people are doing things that have to do with 4th of July events. That day is booked up for me.

Wacky, you are older than I am.

CAC, you don't have to "cook" the ribs. I cook them in my smoker prior to getting there. They will be cold when I get there, then I'll deal them out and they can "Heat" them up either on your Grill or in the fire pit.....they are just heating at that point.

And what if we make the BBQ later in the summer when it is warmer? Say Late July. We can Trunk it

 

Late july or late june would be good for me. Just make sure we get an announcement out with plenty of forewarning.
