Okay slow down, What year is the car? Is it a s4 or s5 ? Is it a n/a or turbo? what type of swap did you do? N/a --> N/a ? Pics or even a video would help too.

NA s4, I have been going back and forth with him on the phone. Did a straight NA to NA swap after his motor was dying. So far I told him to check the FPR, the vac lines, and airflow meter.

check the TPS voltage and resistances. should sweep steady from 1k ohms to 4.3-4.6k ohms or 1 volt to ~4.5 volts as you apply throttle, no dips or spikes while applying it slowly.

could be an injector issue, the injector plugs do have plenty of problems with cracking and pushing the pins back into the connector when you plug them in, the coolant temp sensor on the back of the water pump has the same issue and can cause similar issues.
