The prefecture thing is a joke. We ran some words through a cheap online translator and thats what it came back with.

houstonderk, let me know when it arrives and everything. I want to know the the condition of the car, anything different...etc. It may be mest up to say but i'm guaging my decision on whether to bring my FD. I'm about 80% sure of bringing it but if your car get F@#KED by some deush bag then it might tip the scale.

Thanks dude

Don't worry about the shipping. They move thousands of cars out here every week. The shipping isn't what you need to worry about. What you need to worry about is whether or not you will have fun with your car on the island. Traffic is terrible, cops are everywhere, and the roads are about as bad as they get. With that said, do you really want to be without your 7 for however long you will be on the island?

One thing to be said...if you have any scratches on the car, make sure they are taken care of before you put the car on the boat. The salt air will destroy it in weeks.

Need Help with engine swap

Anyone on Oahu that knows of or is capable of doing an engine swap on a '94 FD? Inherited it from my Father in Law and he let it go to **** when he was dying. It seems to need new coolant seals. I want to get a reman engine and get it in the car, just don't have the time or tools or know how with Rotaries to do it myself.

Any help would be appreciated.

I live in Honolulu (Round Top)

I have a Garage where the work could be done and could rent or buy a cherry picker.

Thanks

Unhappy

He wouldn't let anyone start or drive it for two years so things dry rotted and or rotted. There were rats living under the hood and a few other things. It basically needs a new engine and a touch of detailing inside and out and will be in really good shape. I was the only one he would let drive it and I was off Island finishing my time in the Marine Corps so it sat in the garage in the rain forest and got mildew and other bad stuff growing and things dry rotted.

Ah. Haven't seen the silver one.

Seen the red, saw a Montego Blue in Pearl City about a year and a half ago, and theres an ugly blue kitted one on my base that hasn't left its parking spot on months.

By the way.... THE FD RUNS! I spent this last week in TX, broke it in, tuned it w/ Steve Kan (nice to have known him for a few years, all I had to do was buy him a gatorade)... we estimated 343 RWHP before we installed the ignition amplifyer, estimating 360is w/ 12 psi (don't want to blow it up just yet, staying conservative)....

Anyways, should be getting picked up for shipment this week, probably 3 week timeframe. So another FD is coming.

By the way, anyone who can school me up on the recon/saftey thing, I would appreciate it. How tough is it to get that stuff? Especially with a modded FD....

Went by the stadium Saturday and they had some cars trying to drift in the parking lot. Probably would have went there if I could figure out how to get anywhere.
