So who all is there in hawii? I don't see any threads about it and wonder how many people are over there to see if I even want to bring my 7 over there.

Most of us guy hang out on ForumsHawaii.NET
There's even a Mazda / Rotary sub-section.
I think that's about as good as it gets.

Yeah, well, the whole panda / prefecture thing...I just let them to their thing.

I've been checking out some vids of meets in hawaii (like racesauce) and saw people doing burnouts and wreacking havok. I can't stand them, they give enthusiasts bad names and they limit places we were allowed to meet (cause residents call cops). Other than that, the shows look great. lot of EG....Oh well, work with what you got.

Yeah, I don't "roll" with any "clubs".
You can't control what others will do.
I only hang with a select few FC guys who don't do this **** either.
Too much kids.

Yep, a lot of those cruises and get-togethers are a joke.
Too many kids doing really stupid things that attract the wrong attention.

The factions are split between the generations.
I used to try and get folks to come out years ago, and it was pretty slow.
The last outing we had attracted quite a few peoples, but I gave up putting them together cause it was too much time.

I've been to hawaii a few times... even thought about moving out there.

I never once saw a 7 when I was there. I hung out in Honolulu most of the time too.

That's good. I've been checking that forumshawaii and i've read about people having their cars stolen and houses cases and robbed (mostly in EWA). that gets me worried cause my wife is stays home most of the time.

if you think honolulu has no FD's come to the Big Island, I think I am the only one with a running one on this side of the island. I know of four other ones that are all dead.

I don't think there are "no" FD's but I'm pretty sure that there are a handful. I just wondered were they're at. rotary heads have very different state of mind than piston boys. I don't see alot of 7's trying to prove themselves; that's what I like about owning my FD.

I have two cars and i'm going to pay for mine (FD) or my wifes (FIT).

As for the quotes; just click the button on the lower right side of the post box you want to quote.

What branch of service are you?

Uh, no, I would never be caught in an FD...
I'm an FC guy, and my car is stuck in the garage in a middle of a wheel bearing swap.

The FD guys are out there, but very few are daily drivers.
If anything, you might see the silver one that lives out Mililani Mauka.
That's about the most spotted FD according to the thread we got going on ForumsHawaii.
Andrew Ghali just made it over (big RX-7 mailing list old timers would recognize him) recently, but his FD is down due to a damaged oil cooler.

There's that other guy with the red FD (see ForumsHawaii) that drives around, but I've never seen that car yet.

There used to be a bunch of kids that used to drive around all these FD's, but I think they are all blown motors.
I used to see dead FD's tucked away to service stations (two were at the McCully 76 at one time a couple years back) and Sonics has a couple too.

One week left. I have to install my newly purchased haltech equipment. Also is there any kind of parts place around here? I was trying to find a lock set since the ones on my doors are pretty shot.
