HI Lower boost levels after cat install

So I just got stationed in hawii and decided to get a cat installed just incase. 87 tii bridgeport with n/a rotors, frt mount, t04e, e6k, 4 1000cc injectors. I was running around 14 psi, and now its around 4 psi. Is there anyway to get it up without loosing the cat?

Something is not correct/good here with you cat if only it caused your boost to drop from 14 to 4psi.

When I put my high flow ceramic cat on my car (GT35R mild port) for emmissions testing, my boost only drops a little.

It was from mad hatters, so I think it might some generic 100 dollar one, but I told them that a regular one will probably melt on my car and they said it won't.

doesnt seem like it should drop that much. I only loose about 2psi when I have my silencer in my muffler making it about 1.5" diameter at the end of the exhaust. I would think that should be more of a restriction than a cat.
