Has Anyone ever gone to K1?
No worries. It was a fun day. about 14 people total showed up, 4 of which were club members. The rest were friends.
The track is quite large. I have all the track times, Im waiting on one PM before i post the times.
Hopefully we can do this again next month.
2 races for $20.

Chill out fools. It was a good time and Drew, ya missed out. But hey your call.
Best lap times (Anaheim):
31.63 David White
31.91 Mike Lenhardt (65imp)
31.93 Stephen Stallone
31.93 Joel Payne (frijolee)
32.32 Steve Brisson (brismo7)
32.46 Phong Long (frijolee's amigo)
32.84 Allan Brown
33.76 Julie Trail (brismo7 gf)
36.07 Rifka El-Domyaty
39.55 Gilbert Gurrola
Were Josh and Grabriella with us? I can't remember.
To be fair, I should maybe mention that Joel and Phong ran 4 races, while most folks only did two, Gil did one and spent it stuck in traffic. After 4 races, I've got bruises on my should blades where the corners of the seat hit.
Feel free to add to the list (post ties below the existing times) but be prepared to show proof if you ran something stupid fast...

Hey Hey easy there on the weight call (though I did hop on the scale tonight and was a bit heavier than last time I checked... *cough*)
I totally feel like Bowser from mario kart out there. Knees along side the wheel, and barely fitting in the thing.
A good time seems to have more to do with how many clean laps you can get without being in traffic to slow you down. You are really talking about hundredths of a second. I must say that it is much more fun in traffic to try and maneuver, pass, be passed, little bump and nudge. Even if it is not faster it seems more like racing to me, since I doubt I'll ever be able to drive like that with real autos.
Joel - I also got the bruises on my shoulder blades as well as on the sides of my hips from the kart. Woohoo!
