have all your emissions devices installed and functioning. aftermarket parts? make sure they have CARB numbers, but Cat-Back Exhausts are ok w/o CARB#

First: search

It is going to be pretty hard to tell you how to pass without knowing the modifications you have.

Very, very few FD aftermarket parts have CARB certification.

you can get away with a down pipe in most cases the tech wont know what it is. But you will need the following...... air pump, egr valve, acv, hf or stock cat , stock air box, and maybe the stock ecu to work the air pump to 3000 rpm the pfc will turn off the pump to early so if you have the pfc you will need to tune for smog and get the cell light to work on start up. Gotta love California smog!

If you have a stock cat and your car is running properly you should pass. However, you may fail visual because of the IC and intake (even though arguably they should be CARB-legal). I would swap in a stock IC and intake for the test to be safe.

If you want, you can PM wackyracer. He does smog hookups, but payments is made in slurpees.

d0_luck can vouch for wackyracer.

Depends on the smog technician. Some are in a hurry and just want to get you out of there; others are ****.
