Has Anyone ever gone to K1?
I went today and it was fun as hell!
I think next month We should have a meet at K1 and then everyone goes inside and show what your made of. They record your lap times and print them out for you to compare with everyone else.
I didnt think it would be as fun as it was, but it was really a blast. Those Karts really get moving. Their website says they are 20hp electric motors. and they can reach up to 45mph. I was really surprised at how quickly they accelerated. I even had some drift action going on.

Electric karts aren't as fun as gas-powered ones. K1 and Pole position both kinda suck. I'd much rather go to Speedzone (gas) than those two places. Adams has the best track (gas), but the shittiest karts. They would easily be the best place if the karts weren't so damn'd inconsistent. I heard Apex is pretty good. Their karts are 100cc, so it'll be a handful for most beginners.
We should all just go to Speedzone and get a 4 hour, unlimited run pass for like $20 and go wild on all 3 tracks (yes, they have 3).

I couldnt believe how fast those ******* are. My gf took me (she lives in costa mesa) and continued to whoop my ***. I would do it again. I still have the profile card in my wallet haha!

YES! They look way slower than they are. Even afterwards i was standing by the Fence and watching them, i pointed out to my buddy that they look slow. But damn they're quick!

Its $50 for three 14 lap races. Basically it comes out to a lil over $1 a lap.

I won't go to K1, I don't really care for electric karts. Let's go to Speedzone, $20 for FOUR hours is hard to beat.

The closest thing you'll get to driving an F1 car 
Trust me andrew, these electric carts are fast! Especially on such small tight courses. I was drifting and spinning out A LOT.

which k1 is this gonna be at? dont go to irvine they are like 24sec(fast lap).
anaheim's track is much better and is 33sec (fast laps).
if its gonna be held i may come along +3.depending on school schedule and if i'll be down from la since its a sunday
btw. sunday is normally good(uncrowded). friday is good if we want to show up the scion tc meet people who go there every week at 8pm haha

Haha... that sounds like me!! i get overzealous on a corner and out sliding I go. I was clearly catching up to my gf because im a better driver... until I SPIN OUT!!
