Geez what now (another FD issue)
Geez what now (another FD issue)
So I finally got my Platinum spark plugs in the mail...this time I decided to run all 9's like everyone said. Put em in... bam! Car started right up. Really smooth and nice. Then I shut her off to do my boost gauge install & water temp gauge install. After those were both in...went to start her up....and yet again NOTHING!
It turns over and catches...then just nothing. It wants to keep going but nothing. Maybe flooded motor? I dunno..I'm going to pull the brand new plugs again today...then put em back in and see if she starts. I totally have no idea what to do. My only assumption is bad fuel filter? If anyone has free time and wants to hang out & help me figure this out... send me a PM or respond. Other friends will be here also doing a fuel pump install, turbo install, & a few other things on a WRX
I'm located in the torrance/lomita area

Why don't you trace back on how you installed you gauges. You toke power away from something or you have a short. If the car ran good before you installed the gauges, than you goofed on wiring the gauges.
Thanks Robert
Thanks Robert
The reason why I post in the 3rd Gen Section & West section when I have car issues...is cause I've also received great knowledge from FC owners & if someone can help....whats the harm in that. When someone is having an issue..whats the point in ragging on them. It doesn't help...and makes you look like rude.

Pulled & cleaned the new plugs. Did the De-Flooding Procedure & tried starting. Nothing happened...then tried jump starting with another car....on the third & final try with a long sigh.....she started. Let her warm up for 10 min...went and put new gas in. Thanks for the help Jaime. Now....to decide whether to replace the double throttle solenoid or go single turbo.
