sell the car to a friend have him register it...take ticket to court say you sold it.... buy it back from friend *cough* I may known a fellow who has done this with a civic a few times*

 

What you got was a ticket for illegal intake, RIGHT? Only for your intake, RIGHT?

Go buy a CARB approved K&N, put it on, go to a local CHP, show them the CARB sticker and ask that the ticket be signed off. If you want to take it an extra step, download the CARB Executive Order and show that to the CHP as well. Unless you get a Dick CHP, all they'll care about is what you got the ticket for, sign it, and leave it at that.

sell your fc and pay the rest. i just did some more things to the car as well, such as s5 tails, brand new polyurethane bushings all the way around, etc etc,
