Hello Everyone

I have a buddy who has a 1994 RHD Mazda RX-7 Infini Edition The 7 is Right Hand Drive, has 44k on body/engine/chassis. Car came with JDM Blitz exhaust, JDM springs, and intakes also added a CF OEM hood. The interior of this car is in EXCELLENT condition. Paint has been primered. The stock FD's come with 250hp, but Mazda tuned the Efini 7's a little bit more, and squeezed 30+hp out of it, letting the car make 280HP. I have recently replaced the stock turbo units, with another set of stock turbo units but with 2k on them. As just about all other JDM cars here in the US, this car doesn't have a pink, and isn't registered.

That car is not worth anywhere near $10K. It will cost at least that much or more to get it legal. I would think that $3.5K to $4K would be about right. If it were already legal then $10K to $12K would be reasonable. Otherwise you're just wasting your time. Take it to autotrader or some place where people who don't know anything lurk.

 

don't tell the guy to try to rip off the uneducated. that would really suck for someone to buy the thing and get screwed trying to reg it.

 

It's bound to happen anyway, but hopefully he'll listen and leave us the hell alone. If someone is dumb enough to get ripped off then that's there problem. Hell, I'd buy that car for $4K, but sure as hell not for $10K.

Actually it's going to cost more than that boostedrex. Prob. around $20K. Trust ME IT'S NOT WORTH IT. Even tho if you were to buy the car for 3K, the price to do a DOT US conversion approval is going to cost $20K or more. The PROCESS IS REALLY LONG, and Not worth it at all. Mind as well buy a nicely done Single turbo FD or a LS1 FD for that much. The guy and his friend is a TURD, AND THEY REALLY THINK THEY COULD RIP US OFF FOR 10K.
I can almost BET the kid got ripped off that's why he wants to get rid of it. Poor Kid. The car does not worth ****, unless he give it away. Other than that just set it on flame and get a claim............... No wait, it CAN'T BE REGISTER, therefore no insurance... Sorry kid................. a lesson to learn and carry it with you.

This car can actually be registered if you live in a state that allow right hand drive cars ,like
Washington. I have a friend that does it all the time. I agree the car is not worth ten grand. I would pay most 5k. Let see some pics of this car. Any body damage? Interior ? Engine ?
Also by the way the only fd that made 280hp was the 99 and above. Otherwise its the same as US spec.
