When they were located in Irvine I dropped off a stock hood from my Protege 5 with a promise that they'd make a Carbon Fiber hood for me if I let them use my hood as a mold. They did it and they never gave me a Carbon Fiber hood, or my stock hood back. Whenever I call them, they ignore me. When I went there, they said there was no one there I could talk to. Then they moved to Fullerton. I called, and they said they have no idea what I was talking about. I went to their new location and they said there was no one for me to talk to about my situation. So IMO **** them.

 

Call my buddy up and explain the situation.
Call the main office at the phone number listed on the flyer and ask for Geoff.

 

I've talked to many people, most of them direct me to Lee. Before him it was someone else who supposedly got fired and thats why no one knows what I'm talking about. I explained my situation to him and he said he'll call me back. Lee never called back and whenever I call, he never answers his phone. I've been hoodless since '04 or '05 I believe. I've even tried emailing the company through their website and I never got a response. I'm just getting tired of calling them and having someone tell me to talk to someone else and when I talk to that person, they hear me out, and then never get back to me. Whenever I call, I get ignored. They wouldn't even have a Carbon Fiber hood for a Protege 5/MP3/Mazdaspeed Protege if it wasn't for my hood being used for the mold. All I wanted was to get a free Carbon Fiber hood out of the deal and I get skrewed over. I've spent most of '05 trying to get a hold of anyone, but to no avail. I've simply just give up...

I'm going to go ahead and call Geoff. We'll see where it goes from there. I have no other gripes with the company. Before this incident I was cool with everyone there and I even stopped by the main office every now and then to talk to Steph. Hopefully everything will get straightend out.

 

Leigh had a lot of unresolved business. Geoff will take care of you, he is their new Marketing and Sponsorship Coordinator. Give him a call, and he will sort things out for you.

...back on topic now...

 

My Nephew works in that same area, distributing tortillers. I'll probably go with him in his car.

 

I think several RX-8 owners will be dropping by, and even some old school peoples that I spoke to in Whittier area... so we may see some more Rotarys.

i had that car in my shop that i used to work at and not only does it leak oil all over the place (i had to clean it up by the way..) its an automatic AND there was e-bay products everywhere in the car (except the carbon stuff.), not to mention the car is a rolling billboard..and i think the owner of it doesent know anything about the car. cause i asked him about the whole setup and he kinda shruged it off..unless he wasent the owner, and lied....? dont get me wrong i would love to own the car..but i would do alot more work to it before i would show it off..but then again i wouldent want to leave it somewhere for like 2 weeks eather.
