*yawns* just pay to play.. it's only $25 bucks for the ticket... consider it another tax.

Now if it was to reinstate the rolling smog exemption, I'd sign in a hurry!

LOL, yeah ONE of the MAIN reasons is for peace officers to be able to clearly identify your vehicle from the front and well as the back. Put it on and it's one less reason for them to hassle you.

You know, this is REALLY STUPID because they could make an ACTUAL PETITION and put it on a ballot.

And I think they need to clean up their reasoning a little. Anything to do with aesthetics is a non-starter. They need to stick to the cost/saftey ratio.

not so much the fine, but the hassle of getting harassed by a cop and having to take care of the ticket.

Honestly, if he just stops me and asks me to pay him $25 cash up front, I can care less. But the cop usually uses my front license plate as an excuse to pull me over and harass me about my exhaust and other mods.

Yep, never gonna happen.

As much as I would love to remove my front plate, I know the state of California will not allow it. Not now, not ever.

Sorry
