Still haven't got my injectors in - I don't think that my car will be done in time.

Stan, yes you can bring your own tuner. This meet isn't being sponsored by Wolf USA. I just wanted to offer the services of one of the best tuners in the country. If you do want Chris to do the tuning then drop me a PM and we'll work out a price.

Matt, it's cool if your car isn't done in time. I talked to Chris and he said that whenever you want to bring your car down to Sac that he'll tune your FD. Just give me a day or two advance notice.

Dizzle, do you need a tuner? If so PM me with the details on your car and we'll sort things out.

Yeah you can bring your own tuner. I don't know how much time there will be for tuning. Priority will be to those wanting the quick Dyno pulls, anything extra will be set out for the tunings. Basically I will have a sign up list for both on separate setups. When there are no pulls wanted then ill take from the top of the list for tuning.

Best I could do was $85/hour for renting it and running as many times as you want within that hour. Unless we have a huge turnout then I might be able to bring things down more... Just not entirely up to me unfortunately. I am working for free that day.

No problem, my plan is to stay as late as people want to do runs/tunes for. I don't have any other plans for the day/evening.

It's cool Matt. Just give me a shout when you're ready to have Chris tune the car for you.

I didn't want to install a de-catted midpipe at the last minute, but it's taking its sweet time getting here... >.>

Also still trying to hunt down my boost pattern issues, but that wouldn't have too great an effect on the actual tuning process, so I'm not gonna go ripping my UIM off and **** a few days before the dyno day.

Hmm...should I not shame myself and bring my mild tuned car? I have some old school parts, but want to know what #'s Im putting down. I know I have the least amount of HP, but who cares.

Does anyone there know how to play with an old school HKS Fcon and HKS GCC to at least try and fine tune the little it can?

Or should I just have a stand alone installed...

Im VERY INTERESTED in coming down to check it out.

I just want some sort of tuning...so my car doesnt explode on me. I know its not the greatest of stuff, but its keeping me running right now (better than a FCD alone).

At least if I do the pulls, I can see where my A/F is...I have a wideband, but not sure how accurate it is. Count me in...I dont usually go in this forum, but glad I decided to browse it today to find this.

A F-Con w/ a GCC is fine for dyno tuning. The GCC is the key for the diff RPMs.

And you'd be suprised by how low of dyno numbers some people put down, so you might not be the lowest hp

See you guys on saturday.

Its no problem, you should come out and check it all out. You can see what everyone else's setup is at least. Then if you decide you want to throw yours on the Dyno then we can do that too.

Definitely don't feel bad, you should see some of the pictures floating around of my FC years ago when I first bought it. I took it to a Dyno day. It was hideous yellow with blue racing stripes.. its been fixed since then but I still just went for the same reason. I wanted to know what it had.

I am sure someone there will be able to help you fine tune things a little. I have seen and played very little with an FCon so I can't help much... But others I am sure will have nice input or at least some brains for you to pick for questions maybe?

I did a base run years ago to see where I started... and where I end with the car... if it runs better or worse. Or has more or less power... Things like that. its nice to see that all the effort went for a decent cause.
