Damn I LOVE my RX7!!!

So I just got back from a drift event and it was fukn AWESOME!!! My car ran AWESOME! It is a very good feeling to drive your car to the event, Drift from 12-5pm. Then drive home! My car is a N/A 13B and I am in love with it all over again. What is even more funny is that I get better gas mileage in the 5-8k range than I do cruising...lol. Or maybe I'm just trippn. Ok enough of the rant. ROTARY FTMFW!!!

rotaries aren't exactly like piston engines, they don't get better gas mileage by lugging the engine. i seem to notice fuel mileage decreases when you do try to drive like that unless everything is in PERFECT working order.

Ouch. I'm going to RCC. I've never seen such internet ferocity.

Karack, aren't you supposed to be an engine builder or something? How long do your motors last with thoughts like "piston engines get better gas mileage by lugging the engine" or "better mileage at EIGHT THOUSAND REVOLUTIONS PER MINUTE? Yeah that sounds about right."

i'd rather get the same mileage cruising at 5k than at 2k.

you know that rotaries aren't renown for their great gas mileage i hope.

You'd rather.

I'd rather get some mileage at a billion rpm than at 2k rpm, doesn't change the fact.

Was there a good turnout? I went there a couple months ago and there was like 5 cars competing and it was supposedly a D1 qualifier. They also had a car show in the dirt parking lot.

There was about 8 cars or something like that. It was pretty dope, a ton of track time! I am still tired from all that sliding.
