When you get a noise complaint or a basic "fix it" ticket...ref, etc

Your car is too loud, aftermarket parts, etc etc...

You have two options.

1.) Fix whatever problem.. and take it to court and get the complaint taken care of.
2.) Or pay an expensive fine, keep your car the way it is, and have a chance of getting busted for the same complaint again later.

I hear these tickets cost like $400+ to pay for, but like it has been said MANY, MANY, MANY times (Goodfellas chime in anytime)

If you want to play.. then you gotta pay!

I knew they had this for exhaust but not for modded to high hell tickets. Thanks for the info. Now I can be slightly less freaked out about driving around in Irvine...

my exhaust tickets are up to 160 bucks for "modified exhaust" The cop wrote correctable on the ticket but I got a correction in the mail saying it is NOT correctable? So I pay out the *** for my uncorked beast.

Do you think i'll have time to change plugs there...

Might have to throw in a set of t2 coils (i got the cosmo set so they are plug and play) if my stock coils and twin power wont hold up to 23psi.

well the cop used the "loud exhaust" (which it is pretty loud i guess and a lobing port job doesnt help) to pull me over then made me pop my hood. He tried to say everything under my hood was illegal, he even pointed out my polished lim as illegal. cops these days are idiots, i even showed them the paperwork and i still got the ticket. anyways the ticket does specifically say i cant drive it until its fixed, so i guess ill call the court and ask my options...i would rather just pay a fine though...

Well after my tune with Steve Kan I got 282.7hp on my automatic. It was a pretty conservative tune also since the a/f meter was not working so steve had to work on my a/f ratio just by sound. Plus its an automatic...just needed a safe tune not a whole lot of power. Happy with my results, thanks steve!

I put down 420hp at 15psi on pump only.

485hp on pump (91) + methanol at 19.5psi.

My fuel pump couldn't hack it.. I thought I had a supra TT but I have the cosmo pump which is only good for a max of 450hp. My methanol was keeping me alive up to 485hp, but Steve didn't want to push it anymore.

Good note.. engine wasn't knocking worth a ****... the engine is SOLID.. only has 3k on it, it better be. LOL

I am going to throw in another pump and run dual -6 lines and then throw in some c16.

Damnit Eric.. Had i got 23lbs I would have smoked your first Kan tune of 534hp.

Bastard.

Props to Steve and all the Guys at RR&R... Slopoke for getting things together.. and all the others that were there hanging out. Met some cool people.

I'll def be ready for the Kan tune in the future.. along with dual pumps and ready for 30psi.

Wink

I had a great time even though I only saw 257 to the wheels! Looks like my turbos are shot ta hell! Mo' money, mo' money!

Dhalen, that ride of yours is, well, sick! Doesn't matter how many times I've seen it-still shocks me. And thanks for offering up your injectors to me. Hell of an offer from you and I appreciate it. Let me know about the bumper.

Shortfuse, how that hell did you find such a pristine ride? I HATE YOU!!!! (not really)

Steve, thanks for the tune and all of your advice on direction. I'm going to follow some of it! ;-)

Thanks RR&R and Slopoke for setting everything up and ensuring that everything ran smoothly.

I'll have the pictures up either tomorrow or Tues when I'm back in the office.
