Compression Testing places San Diego?

the address is 7092 Miramar Rd Suite 125, San Diego CA.

There is a 1993 FD there that i would like to have a compression test done on it to see... the dealer has no receipts on when the engine/turbo was rebuilt...

Also, is there anyone else close by that wouldnt mind checking her out?

I asked 10k and the guy said he would be willing to entertain the offer.

Thanks for all you guys again!

these guys buy their cars from auctions...so i've heard. i would be very skeptical about the "FRESH TURBOS, FRESH ENGINE" statement. anyways Autotech can do a compression check for you, they are located on third ave. chula vista

regarding the "do it yourself" compression check

i dont think cali dealers will let you work on thier cars, i have never heard of a dealer that will just let you mess with their cars. they will most likely allow you to take the car to a shop and get a "real" compression check done. Original poster just google auto tech chula vista, get thier number a make an appointment for whatever day you plan to come down here and look at your FD.You can have the dealer drive the car to the shop. you definately want to go the extra mile since you are about to throw down some serious cash
