Angry Clogged Cat

How much power will a clogged cat cut from your engine?

A clogged cat? If you can imagine an NA with a 3000 RPM rev limit, that would be about right.

Now my cat, it puts the “F” in flow mang. The rest of the car is still slower than a skateboarder on a gravel road, but the exhaust flows!

clogged cat is also dangerous. It can cause fire. Just gut the hell of that ****** or take it off and drive the car with an open exhaust to a muffler shop so they can install a straight pipe for less than $50.

Or set that cat loose and get a dog instead

My high flow was broken and plugged up, the FD managed 250rwhp. I took off the cat, poured the pile of crap out and next run was 310. It can make a small difference.

I put a cat on my car so it would pass smog...

It started to clog up... but before it could, my car spit that catalyitic **** right out... blew it out through the tailpipe.

I took off that cat today (which was a fine working cat before) and it's totally empty... no sign of any catalyitic stuff left.

Good car, good.
