Really? Lame... Well lee did mention you guys used to do the meets over at the Starbucks parking lot, that'll work if it's less of a hot spot. And as for the mooney idea to work, we're going to need people to pitch in. I know lee said he was down to bring some meat, and I'm in for a few supplies too. I'm sure if everyone pitched in like about 10 bucks each we'd have a pretty good Q. I wouldn't mind either choice honestly.

Anyways the list is up, I'd be nice to get a head count at least a week before the meet to decide where to go. I'm sure wherever we go we'll all have a good time

My old crew did do meets at Starbucks- in Hanford. If Lee used to do meets at Starbucks in Visalia that might not be a bad choice.

our first little meet in greet in visalia was at starbucks, the one next to chipotle target area. or if we wanted to do a bbq thing instead of mooney groove we can do plaza park of the 198 freeway which is free i believe. just giving in ideas. then yes, away from A&w teenage ricer central and police ticket paradise. i always get pulled over or get asked by racer if my car is a nissan 240 everytime i have to get money out from my bank, chase.

We'll finalize the location once we can figure the turnout haha.
Man I really wish my buddy that worked there would of told me
how bad that spot is. Last thing we need is the cocky rice brigade
following us, like what rolled up last time unannounced lol.
It's all up to the group as to where we're meeting

Sorry, been away a lil bit. Roommates decided to bail on us at last minute, so my monthly debts just doubled. It'll be better this way, though. Not have to be quiet when the one is sleeping cause he works nights...Get better sleep cause he's not just getting in at 2am...

Anyways, Mooney Grove (obviously) is an awesome place to meet. Any parks after dark, the cops kick you out. Starbucks is always nice. If you want an industrial theme/background, could maybe use my work (www.aminc.com). Sheriff's patrol it after hours, but I have a key. I'll talk to the big man (owner) if ya'll want? No promises, but it never hurts to ask.

There's also Plaza Park, it's free. I don't think there's a time limit, I've spent some time there at night (I like playing on the playground equipment). Although, the parking lots aren't very well lit non-game days.

Umm...hmm...Other than that, I'm typically at bars, lol.

IMO I think that Plaza Park is best choice because of the amount of space, free parking, easy to find, just off hwy 198 and just as close to hwy 99 . If the meet starts early enough and ends by the time the sun goes down and starts to set (about 8pm) we won't have to worry about needing lights, my only concern at this moment is WHOSE GONNA COOK???? I'M HUNGRY. LOL.

I haven't seen a set date yet??? is there???

I'd also like to suggest the 23rd or 24th of July @ 4pm for our July 4th meet. (3weeks apart )

edit: just did a google search from road perspective and it seems to me that the parking lot does have some lights, maybe not food 4 less quality lighting though

Bout a page back I posted for the 16th plus a bit more info on date organization but seeing as no ones signed up yet we might have to push it back.... And as long as people buy I'm sure the chefs in the group will come out It seems though people didn't see the list...or the date lol. The location can be this park for sure I mean worst comes to worse we can all just hang out. Oh yea, sun sets around 8:30ish 4 is going to be around peak hottness so I'm hoping there's lots of shade

If your not familiar with the area it's off the 99 and second heading east. It's on the left right after the curve and the light. Hopefully we can all fit if everyone on the list comes haha.

Also seeing as the 4th is coming is any one still interested in the Mooney BBQ? it be nice if people pitch in for food/drinks/etc. Since lists work

This is for the 4th. The list for the 25th is on the other page

I went over the thread again, I missed this sign up sheet. I'm down with what ever works. I must have been skimming the pages too quickly.

That was for the 4th idea that fell through because well, I'll move it here

Officially we will be holding our meets on the Third Saturday of every month unless holidays get in the way.
For holidays or if things get in the way for too many we will move it to the second saturday. Now my idea of switching
towns for meet locations imo still sounds like a great plan and so far no complaints yet.
Towns will be Fresno, Selma(I'll find a bigger place ), and Visalia so everyone can get an equal distance to travel.

Finally we are going to need a place to meet for the 16th. (Edit) The other park that I completely forgot the name of

I won't be able to make either weekend (16th or 23rd) because of work; I'm working every weekend the rest of the month. I'll be there for August though, I've made certain that I'm off that 3rd weekend.

You will be missed but glad to hear your thinking ahead

Now folks it seems we'll be postponing the meet to the 23rd of this month (two weeks from now) it's still going to be in Visalia of course. I'll be sending a mass text to those that I have numbers of by the end of this week since no one likes posting in here lol

Whatever weekend is good for me.

Plaza has plenty of lights, but whether they're on or not is dependent upon the sports games. If we go during daylight, then it's a moot point.

I wanna ride my bike, though. lol

Kat?! Not gonna make it?? Aww

I'd say come to my house and we can bbq, but my roommates took their bbq and I dont have the $$ now to buy one. Next year, definately. As far as taking a tour? I've only been back in the state for about a year, most of that time spent working and being elbow-deep in engines.

I hope I'll be back in time for the meet on the 23rd. If I'm back in time, I hope I'll have enough time to work on my car a little before bringing it out.
