sorry been out of the game for a good min. ill try to make it out to the next one... the bbq at visalia mooney grove park sounds more legit. so we all can chillax and eat some bbq ahaha but either or i can reconcile with the original plan.

 

Alright people it's hard to bounce ideas around when I have only one mind to bounce em around in.

Now I want to plan a few things. One being a small meet sooner than the 25th(either this weekend or next weekend) it's short notice so it's more of an "if you can make it" type thing or if more people can do the 25th that'll work too. Again whatever works best with the majority.

Two I've put a lot of thought on the mooney idea, and the best time to do that would be the 4th of July. We could make it a day event and what better day then that day. The 4th is on a Monday so keep that in mind for planning.


And if I can't stress it enough, let me know your out there easiest way is my cell 5593931239 text or call. If your in the area an want to swing by, have ideas, or have time off. Anything that can contribute haha

 

I personally haven't met with anyone (7meet wise) in the last 3 yrs, my last time was up in sactown because there wasn't really anything going on in the CV at the time. I know some of you guys on this thread want to get something going. Again personally I'd like to have something spark here in the CV with tight nit group of friends that we can rely on and get together and hang out with (when life doesn't get to complicated that is), But when I read on many threads that only 4 or five rotorheads show up and it's like "POOF!" what happened during and after the meets??? I'd like to eventually get it rolling something better and bigger. I know the central valley is limited on the amount of people it has BUT I HAVE HELPED THE CHARLESTON CLUB IN S.C. MAINTAIN AND EVEN GROW INTO SOMETHING LARGER THAN WHAT IT WAS WHILE I WAS THERE, BOOSTEDREX (MY BIG BROTHA FROM ANOTHA MOTHA) CAN VOUCH FOR ME AND MY ENTHUSIASM FOR ALL GEN RX'S. AND THERE ARE 7 AND 8 OWNERS OUT THERE BEGGING TO BE PLUCKED AND PUT IN THE BASKET (IF THEY'RE INTO THE WHOLE CAR AND MEET SCENE)

Anyway lets make a big turnout happen on the 25th and scout the 7 owners and maybe 8 owners and maybe the Supra owners (I didn't forget about chocolate supra) I've gone out and scouted owners and previous owners in T.C . that I know who might be interested.

And not to knock your idea for a BBQ at Mooney's Park for the 4th I'll be with my family and I'm sure others will too. Extending it out a week or two for the same reason (4th of July) but specifically for the 7 meet. I'm sure some others may feel/think the same.

Just my opinion though

Snap you are personally my right and left hand man for help on this whole situation. I'm glad to see someone step up to the plate.

In all honesty all I think it should take is one solid meet to get the ball rolling, it seems like everyone has cold feet about the whole situation. I hope this whole thing turns out fairly well in the long run.

As for the 4th idea, no offense taken. Like I said it was an idea to throw around with the group. Since most people take advantage of that day it seemed like a good idea. When me and Jr were discussing it family was not discouraged from coming

Im getting my car tuned in Huntington Beach in a few weeks. I cant take it out on a base map with a street ported motor and all. Ill let you know when im all ready to go.
