Anyone else going to make it out to the drift/auto cross events happening this weekend at the fairgrounds?

 

Is there a flyer or info about these events on the internets???

Jc with Silver Rx8 is (STX) but you guys should come out, its a lot of fun!

Registration for Run Groups 1 & 2 opens at 7:30AM, closes at 8:30AM.
Run Group 1 starts 9:00AM. MANDATORY driver’s meeting 8:45AM.

Hey I was wondering also, about the CVR shirt idea, any progress or suggestions towards that???

I ran into a guy today who can print out shirts either black or white with any custom design for less than $20 each when at least 5 were ordered.

I'd like to see if we can get some made for us in the Cen-Cal Crew, what do you guys think???

 

It'd be nice to have a shirt already. I want to say Patrick was the one working on the ideas but like he said he's a busy man and doesn't have the time to get the ideas down. I know Jadrien was talking about making shirts maybe he can throw his hat in on this.

I've always wanted like a decal of Cali with a rotor in the middle to represent us. Just a thought lol. Any more ideas to bounce around?

 

How bout making me one with this picture in the back of a black shirt and then as Figs mentioned putting the cen-cal logo and a rotary on the front.

This was what I threw together last year. This version is kinda low res but I could find the original. I think it'd look great on the front of a black shirt with Moua's engine compartment on the back.

That caravan is a cool idea, but for those of us who are staying at the official hotel in Lancaster, we'd have to backtrack that morning about 45 minutes to get to the meet point. Might be worth it just to be part of the caravan.

 

I may wanna talk money if you can make the shirts roughly any way you want them. There's a lot of things I like but a few things I wouldn't mind refining in that shirt mock up

I plan on taking the very early drive back to the caravan meet. Here's a few pics I took from previous years. I know this year its going to be a lot bigger due to the invite is not just for 8club but also to combine with the 7club members

We got plans to head that way (early morning day of though), hopefully nothing changes that hinders us from going south next month. I'll be taking the Mazda pickup, from my first meet with you guys. Does anyone plan on buying a rear diffuser and needing to stuff it somewhere to get it home??? LOL

Jadrien, not to knock on your shirt idea, I'm not diggin the "IT" logo in the center, What I was hoping to go for with the group was some thing just strictly CVR because not all us follow "IT". But by all means if you get one made, sport it. I can't find my air brushed T from South Carolina, 2 rotors, one in front offset by the other to the rear, had a quote on it, "If it ain't a rotor, it ain't a motor"




Moua, I'll talk to my shirt guy tomorrow about how much it'll be for getting this on the back of a large black T-shirt.

Also I'll be seeing how much to have our shirts made for my wife and I. Inner driver 6"X6" front and center, and state and lettering on back, 14"x14"



might go back to upated logo on inner driver not sure yet though.

 

I like the left logo. Maybe something within a 3" square parameter printed onto the left side of the front shirt.

What I was hoping for was something like the shirt Jadrien put up but instead of the IT in the center, the Cali with a rotor in the middle. I wouldn't mind rocking the IT on th sleeve, kinda like sponsor tribute lol

Gina's gonna get a hot pink one with black print, and I'll be in pink too, J/k It'll be black with white print. I'll post pics once I get them.

Guy I spoke with makes quality shirts that will last through multiple washes like any normal shirt, with a quality shirt as well, also with 2 prints on each side. It'll probably be more since he'll be making only 2 at first. He said he could do $17.50 (includes taxes) if he does a run of 5 or more.

I already spoke with Moua about his.

And I will be upgrading the little guys tiny logo on chest from the old school mazda symbol to the recent one.

Or just a simplified version of that image with "Central Cali Rotaries" across the top and "Dorito's on a stick" across the bottom.

 

lemme know how this goes, I really like the back idea but the front I would probably replace with the brap square on jadrien's shirt I'm interested in having matching shirt for Sevenstock, or hell even something that represents the valley as a legit group of rotor heads
