A quick release would have definitely foiled them if they couldn't figure a simple shift **** out...

Thanks everyone! I just got back from New York last night, and I inspected the car today. It's even better than I thought. lol The only thing they took was my broken radio and the shift ****. My roommate thought they took the battery but he didn't realize I had the battery install behind the passenger seat. So, it started right up, and there is little to no damage on the car. I think I am one of the luckiest people lol. Thanks for looking out everyone. Now that I have time I will be making some changes.

Glad to hear it was recovered with relatively little damage.

How far from where it was stolen was it found?

I had no idea, but it was dumped somewhere just a few blocks away from my home. But I had to leave town and never got a chance to look for it. I wish I did, I could of saved myself some money after getting it from the impound. But I'm just happy to have it back. The thieves obviously weren't into the car parts, just any electronics and valuables I may have had in the car. Which, there were none.

mann i hate hearing about rx7 thefts because then i think its someone in the community.. i got out of 240s because i always worried about mine after i hooked it up.. Reason i would never own a honda because of how popular it is, civics dont have much sports car/performance imo and they are soo dam popular..

Glad to hear you got it back though and not much was lost.. sounds like some asswhip looking for a quick buck from a stereo
