i would make certain that you do need a rebuid. i wouldn't just rebuild a motor just because it has 100k miles. if it definately needs a rebuild or new motor i second ricksrotary or rotaryextreme.

i can do it a hell of a lot cheaper than both but i'm north of Sacramento so it's really about how far you are willing to go to save some money.

I'm guessing Vallejo or Vacaville from the responses we've had so far. I know that Rotary Extreme is a great shop but they are pretty expensive. Not saying that you don't get what you pay for, but you can get just as good of a rebuild for probably half the price from Karack. I have seen 4 cars that he has rebuilt. 3 turbo and 1 N/A. All of them run incredibly strong, his turn around time was very fast, and his continuing customer support is excellent. From being around the cars he has built, none of them have had a single problem. I would check with Rick's Rotary and with Rotary Extreme, then check with Karack and see if the price difference is as big as I think it will be. I'd be willing to bet that it will cost twice as much to take it to one of the bigger shops. Just my opinion. Best of luck to you either way you go.

I say go with Karack...my motor hasn't blown yet, but I've seen the ones he has built and they run strong. For me he has installed my standalone and pretty much showed me how to remove my emissions and stuff.
