Bay Area!!!! Who needs to get tuned? Sorry I've been gone so long.

Sorry I have been away so long, not having my 7 any more I have kinda taken a break from cars. And seeing other 7's only makes me regret ever selling it. I figured someone else would pick up where I left off, but i guess not. I talked to Steve about a week ago about if he has been contacted to come visit us but he said no so I thought I would come see what's going on. Upon logging back in I had 15pm's!!! from different members about setting up another tune. For this I am sorry I may not have my car anymore but I care and respect this community so I shouldn't have left you hanging so long without at least checking in. Anyways enough story time, if you are interested in getting your car tuned I was thinking maybe early/mid January time frame? Just post in here and I will start coordinating to make it happen. Long live 7's!!!
On a lighter note I just bought a Mazdaspeed 3... It's a spunky little thing!!!

Not fixed or repaired, but put on a dyno and tuned for performance, power, and drive ability. By who is considered to be one of the best rx7 tuners in the united states Steve Kan.

You have to have a programmable ECU like haltec, power FC or something similar. Depending on the set-up it usually cost around 550-700 for the tuner and dyno time total.

I know I have been away for a while and newer members might not know me, but just a little background, I have been setting up and helping coordinate these tunes for around the past 4-5 years with great success.

As far as details they will all be kept to PM's so please feel free to PM me with any questions you may have.

I am waiting for him to get back to me, but I am pretty sure I have seen him tune a FC with the RTEK before. As soon as he lets me know I will let you know here.

rxx4fun... I am looking at the first weekend of January the 7/8th, assuming everyone interested is ready to go. He needs at least 5 weeks to book his flight so the soonest he could come is Christmas weekend which is no good and the following weekend after that is New Years, so that first or second weekend in January is what it is probably going to be.

I'm trying to get air temp down to half otherwise it's not worth it to tune again. I'm waiting to get my custom IC then I need to get some pipes, that's it. ETA is about a month out.

tnn - what ic are you running? you might just need to upgrade to a better ic for the purpose you're trying to accomplish.
