anybody here down to do some togue runs? please if you don't approve of togue runs, keep your opinion to yourself. this is just for the people who do like to go up the mountains.

 

I see alot of cops nowadays and have stayed away.

 

Yeah, it would probably be in your best interest to steer clear of any runs because the cops are keeping a close eye on the roads thanks to a few local idiots who wanted to play Initial D on Cali roads.

I heard rumors of them trying to do speed traps and even impounding vehicles if it's a certain speed over the limit.

You are so right. Too many stupid kids trying to be "JDM tyte yo!!" I honestly wish that they would just stop making those movies. Too many people just aren't smart enough to realize that aggressive track style driving belongs on the track only and not on the street!!

 

It's not the best thing to display this on a public forum either, also it's a public forum so people like to have their opinion known. I like going out for drives, but it's just gettin' too hairy with law enforcement and idiots. I would have to say that when the fast and the furious three comes out we're going to see even more idiots in mom's car on the mountains.

Berryessa is I think seeing a lot of traffic because of all these initial D wannabes and I already know of someone flipping their seven (don't ask, I don't know who), and a dumb **** and his friend in a 240 and a celica who ended up hitting a bike during the day.

 

For the 707 Meet caravan we did not run into a single cop on the way there or back. Going through Berryessa roads around 5pm.

Maybe it's just where you guys are.

 

the bay is pretty bad but there are still some road police free, just to much in the cuts to patrol. But yah need not ask me where these roads are because again public forum meaning police monitor these forums for **** like this. and its been covered in a thread how police found a location of a car meet and street racing and shut it done because of infor posted on forums. and for all iknow you can be a cop haha jk or really dont care!

 

i have seen more cops lately around 9 and such but mostly on the weekends. the reason i put this post up is not to incite a big why you shouldn't run mountains lecture. it's because i'm seeing if anybody wants to participate in a meet that's put together on the 18th of june. it's a sunday. if anybody wants to go just pm me for the route and the meeting place n time.
