I think Chohakai is the one with the 20b. I heard something didn't go exactly right so the numbers sounded low. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Maybe we can setup another session 3 months from now so you can make it.

i have mods list in the youtube link, it's pretty lengthy so I don't know if I'd want to post it here.

Turbos - Stock Twins
Engine - Stock rebuild

When I get around to doing a rebuild, I would do a street port and probably upgrade to BNR's or Efini twins. I'd like to keep it twin. I may do 1300cc secondaries. Then I'd be shooting for 350rwhp or so.

Yeah, think so. What I find more interesting is that it seems to be running 5 degrees cooler and really likes 88 degrees.

your car looks awesome. I would love to see few pics. do get 1300cc secondaries and better fuel pump but if you get BNR and street port you would get into smog trouble later, well unless you keep off road. ;-)

efini twins won't get you a lot more power but just spool faster, especially on the primary turbo

car doesn't pass smog anyways. I think I only have a year or so of enjoyment left. "blank" is getting harder and harder to come by but I've been doing it for 10 years.

My car is 2 different colors now since I just sold my FEED front bumper and hood (went OEM 99 spec).

Here are 3 stages of the car:

FEED Hood/Bumper with Enkei RPF1's 17x9+45

FEED Hood/Bumper with Enkei Raijin 18x9.5+15

Car as it sits now with OEM 99 Bumper with Enkei Raijin 18x9.5+15 (+15MM Spacer in Rear, so +0 in rear)

Other car - R35

The car is looking good, you should get 350/hp easily with BNR's, but they will require some other supporting mods.

I also see that you get service from Paul at Rotorsport.
There is an FD that Paul built the motor for, and it made 330/hp @14.7psi on a conservative tune. This was with a set of 99 specs, so BNR's should get you there.

Nice choices in cars...love GTR's.

Thanks, I have a Cosmo fuel pump and I would get 1300cc secondaries.

How good is Paul doing at rebuilding motors? I'll be looking for a street port.

Paul's rebuilds are top notch, I know his porting is really good too. Steve tuned an FD built by Paul and one built by Rick's Rotory. Almost identical setup:

new rebuild with the followings:
Streetport
99 twins
supra fuel pump
PFC
1300 sec. inject
HKS twin power
HKS RS intake
Greddy M spec fmic
dp
mp
exhaust

At every boost setting, Paul's motor made 7-10hp more, and Steve said it's down to the porting.

Any idea how much he charged? I guess I can ask him when I got back in whenever I get my stuff from RX7Store.

I'm not sure what he charges now, but he's not cheap. Ask him about the purple accent motor in a black FD, he built it to be a 500+hp. He'll remember that car.

I made 338 rwhp @ 12 psi on a ported motor I built years ago with a PFS purple box. Recently we made 432 rwhp on BNR's set up sequential at 18 psi with a heat soaked engine. Tuner said 470 rwhp would have been easy if we wanted to turn up the boost. We now run another pound so we are north of 445 rwhp.
