^^we cruised to the crossroads (a local spot) but there were only spoiled highschool students there. there was one FC and a bunch of 240sx's. so we left.

just go to the arstesia tranist station off the 91 fwy heading west (where it ends), make a left, then and immediate left into a parking lot (cant miss it!) its not that far at all just a short trip down the 405south then to the 110N, then 405w

sorry for all the confusion, its just that everyone is so used to being at autobacs, we tried to get a compromise between the two... obviously that didnt work! so now we hope to mesh those OC folks with the crew in gardena. hope to see some of you all. (GD)

no no no, i kinda screwed that translation up! these kids were a bit different, only one 240, others were wrx's and evo's. i got nothin against em, not their fault their parents worked hard to get them what they want, but there was a hint of poser in the air... tons of stickers and stuff, but w/e. We tend to be biased toward teh rotary

dying? hahah you cant run canyons to any extent more than playing if you plan on keeping your car and yourself in one piece, you need to exert all fear and anxiety before you enter gods canyons to test yourself.

canyons are very fun until you start doing too much on a road you dont know. you'll start miss judging corners and be off road before you know it. same as your average drag race as far as danger goes, and we constantly hear about those guys. like one said it is best to keep it on the track, but its just not practicle. i wish there were closer road courses, but there arent so mine are up in the bu somewhere waiting w/ open gates and free of charge.

Yeah I am down, but after my close hommie went 280FT down the side, your thought process tends to change. I used to roll like the CHP was chasing me, but after seeing GMR in the daylight, it seems that GMR is a deathtrap. I roll, just not peged out in 2nd gear anymore. I am now a slow ****. Getting old I guess. I am down to roll to GMR I just wont be hitting it up all night long at max speed.

haha, yeah thats very true, its a harsh reality but you have to deal with it if you want to be competitive, but people can be satisfied at different speeds so whatever works for you. i usually tend to go to new places in the daylight so i can see and remember the vital turns(such as turns that look like a wide sweeper but are actually a 2nd gear hairpin, or decreasing radius/double apex corners) that can put you over easy instead of finding out the night of the run the hard way.

common sense.....the red car in the thumb nail I posted earlier had a caliper fail. Car was top notch and had alot mods, so common sense had little to do with it. You also have to trust the guys your running with not to **** up and put you out.

BTW who is down for a GMR run?

what happened exactly to the caliper? did a caliper bolt come loose, immobilizing one of the calipers?
