A sheriff let me go cause I was sporting a LAFD "1412" (I believe was the number) sticker...I told him I worked in Carson, where I was attending college at the time....being cordial also helps.
Plate in front window is not legal, imagine a good accident, a nice piece of metal flying around the passenger bay! and often they are put on the drivers side which blocks the VIN....just do what I do....modify the stock mounting point so it is not so easily seen....which matters **** all since red light cams. get both front and rear....

DAMN thats *** UPED, got my FC impounded for DUI yes my fault, went to the impound after I got released 2 day later, damn CHP took me to COUNTY JAIL where I cound't even get bailed out because it takes 1 day to process in & 1 day to release U after posted bail, well went to impund right away they stole my radio, cracked my interior pieces they said that the cops searched my car and broke all the pieces, and they kno nothing about a radio, amps, subs, now thats F UPED

hey i just picked up a rx7 from a kid that got the car at an auction, i have a license plate and i need the title, the car and i are from washington, im sure hes a member of the forum its an 86' with a s4 TII swap i would just like to locate a title or some information on the car, it would be so HELPFUL! its 800-UCE, much appreciated if you can help

Why hasent anybody that drives my car gotten a ticket for the lack of the front plate? It's never had one owners goes (Grandma, dad, me) I've driven near cops over 20 times, corksport exhaust w/out silencer) never had any issue.
I've been reading, it's illegal to have a modified exhaust or one thats over 95dba?
Also stock cars do shoot flames, my friends 79 Rx-7 shoots a nice 4" flame, everythings stock and it passes emissions.
Last question
I was with a friend, he was drinking (Just a few then was gonna park & go to the beach) we got pulled over for no plates (New-used car) so I stashed his brewskies for him, the sheriffs were cool! Seriously, I told him idk how many I had, and I don't know how many he had. He told me "ah so your going to take the wrap for it all, thats cool"
They got a book outta their suv, the other guy was like just write him up with minor in possession, hes like no I want to write him up for in possession in a vehicle, he wrote all the car info down n such, circled it as an infraction. Odd thing is they let my friend go (Without insurance) and he had a BAC of higher than allowed.
What will happen to me when I go to court? A fine? My friend said a lot of the times they write up tickets to scare you and don't turn them in (He said it happened to him a few times) any way I can check without going to court? The problem is the court I have to go to is far away from me =(
