Hey FU,

Is it legal to pull over to the side of a public road, and urinate in full view of traffic?

Illegal to speed as well. But no issue if it isn't officially recognized.

Quotas may not be officially given, but you can be damn sure how many tickets are written or not written is noted. No different than how a sales persons job performance is measured.

In LA? You're in good company, don't worry about it.

As with anything, stats are pulled to see how many arrests are made and what kind of crimes are prevelant. Traffic tickets are one of those stats. Usually the motor cops are the only ones concerned with traffic tickets since that is their main priority to that specialized position.

You just can't stay out of this thread huh? If you don't like the police, stay out of the thread called "ask a cop."

I believe it is illegal to put the plate in the window, it must be on the front bumper. That being said, I've been driving a red sports car since I've turned 16 without a plate on the front and never once gotten pulled over.

I'm not a police officer, so thats not official word.

Just sharing my experience as well for the mutual benefit of our wankle clan.

I like most cops*. Just don't like greater than thou attitudes (no reference you, my rotor head friend) at any level, especially if they wear a uniform.

*There are about 5 Chino cops that need to find some other profession. Especially if his last name is Vega (major kiss ***), Bamouski (dangerously incompetent), or McCombs (just a bad guy).

"I believe it is illegal to put the plate in the window, it must be on the front bumper. That being said, I've been driving a red sports car since I've turned 16 without a plate on the front and never once gotten pulled over.

Illegal (I believe there is a no more than/no less than height from the road rule about where it can be displayed), but also down right dangerous. Think flying sheet of metal!!

And maybe you haven't been pulled over, but you're a rolling "probably cause" opportunity for any cop.

Yeah, that was the point of my post, I guess I should have made myself clear.

Not all Chino cops are bad, I know/knew of 2 that were great people.

I've called 911, but that ultimately was useless, as they referred me to CHP.
When I called CHP, nothing happend as no officer showed up at all after I followed the individual (for miles!!!)

I've seen signs that say, "Report drunk driving, call 911". In your city, they're just not rich enough to care.

If the Ventura Monthly meets were still on, I'd say meet you there this weekend, but those seem all but dried up....

So, you let me know what's good for you and I'll let you know if I can make that
Hopefully It'll turn into a Beater Meet, "North".

Car Runs Strong, and has WAY to much power... actually you should be giving me a ticket right now, cause I'm thinking of breaking the law by speeding 40 mph in a 35 on the way to work...
