Couple years ago they changed our emissions test to no longer be a couple cruising speeds. They test idle and have a driving simulator where they shift through the gears, accelerate, and decelerate (The I/M147 test). So I can't provide anything that says at X speed or Y rpm the maximum CO, CO2 or HC is Z.

However, just based on the fact that we have to test vehicles from 67-74 and all motorcycles already makes the sniffer for my REPU and 2 motorcycles more difficult than if I lived in CA.

For newer vehicles such as my FD when I had to get it through a couple years ago I remember comparing my test sheet with one from CA I saw posted in here and was amazed that some of our requirements were more strict. I remembered this because I knew that CA specifically was allowed to have requirements more strict than the federal government while other states couldn't. Possibly it means CA has some standards more relaxed than the federal requirements while others are more strict and maybe AZ just matched the fed reqs.

I never knew that AZ required testing for all cars from the 67 model year onwards. A lot of talk about testing motorcycles has been going on recently in CA, but as we all know it takes a lot to change the status quo.

Really? I have special insurance for my FD through AAA. I took it in to them and they took a bunch of photos and inspected it and whatnot. They also told me that I should keep receipts for any modifications I have done to it and if the car were to be totaled or stolen, they would work with me on partial reimbursement for them.

Hehe, yep Car was running pretty lean, the leaner you go, the more NOx's go up, everything else equal.
