Aight I am down to help out sometime. I just have no idea how to swap an automatic transmission nor do I have a lot of free time. I work 7 days a week... Can this be an ongoing project type deal or does it need to get done all in one day?

^So long as you're extra careful making sure the torque converter is mounted properly, it slides on pretty much the same (actually easier what with no pilot bearing to maneuver into) as a manual.

Let me talk to my neighbor and ask him for some advice... If he gives me a decent idea of what I need to do and what tools I need to bring I am down to try and knock this out for ya.

I have looked on line and rebuilt ones are WAY over priced......more than the car is worth...by a long shot..

I looked into pick'n pull...not sure what to do really.

as for swapping to manual, I'd love to, but I'm not sure I have the skill required to swap it out...nor the money really....

deff going to have to look into both options some more.. maybe look for a parts car that has a good tranny in it....might be cheaper

buying a tranny from a pick n pull isnt really a good idea because that tranny could be just as bad if not worse then what do you do swapping to stick would be drive shaft getting the pedal assembly and everything else that goes with a manual car
