I would take my money and leave, honestly rotary shack isn't the only retailer in the world.
And for whoever said this isn't bad for business/bad customer service? Yes - it is.

Many orders have been fulfilled / shipped out this week so people will start seeing their parts. People that order from Rotary Shack need to understand two things, the first being that if their order is large and custom, it will take time to be fulfilled. Second, part of waiting means that they will get A+ top notch quality parts and be very pleased. You rarely ever hear anything about parts from Rotary Shack not being amazing, but yes the common concern is always the "wait period" to receive them. Many people that complain never mention the full details on how they change their order 5+ times and request new stuff or want more work done and have to wait to send payments, etc. Many smaller size orders such as short shifters, used parts, or completed carb kits are easily shipped out right away and this has been proven. People that request $3000+ custom turbo kit orders just need to be patient or find someone else.

Sucks to hear about people getting shafted with their orders. Perhaps you should add your comments here...

oh boy. this guy sounds like that dude name Chris in Sacramento that use to work at Check Point.
Anyways its' just poor business and sounds like a cheap way of making money...
Work or parts is cheap. People send him money for $40-$200. The dude lie it takes 2 years or so for a polish job..? and do you really think that's worthy enough for a small claims.....? I didn't think so... then there you go., the dude ended up pocketing your $40.00 and get's a bad comment on the forum. Like thats gonna hurt his pocket. He then go and used individual that has some reputation here on the forum to compensate his bad faith of his business. And when investigated further, you'll noticed the volunteered dude doesn't even know him personally., or appears to be more or one of the first few customer that has their parts or work return early with results.
Sounds like a cheap way of stealing people money!

Chris Greene now works at rotary world in Ione California and builds engines for mazda recyclers in Rancho Cordova and offered me a service of refurbishing apex seals(i laughed under my breath)... i would avoid both of them. also just pulled apart an engine from mazda recyclers that had worn and used 3 piece apex seals and the wrong rotors(non turbo in a '88 turbo 2 motor, this was purchased before Chris started building their motors mind you but they use the cheapest builders they can find). he avoided any dispute and just called it a learning lesson.

For those of you that missed it, look up to post #61 on this page, and look at the screen shot of the email that Rotary Shack sent to this customer....
"If you talk **** about me, youre gonna be waiting a lot longer for your parts"
IF anyone here STILL thinks that the long wait time is because of the time it takes to make a quality product available, think again. Thats Rob in his own words, telling you why this customer still doesnt have the things he paid for.
At this time, Rob has been once again banned from this forum. Rotary Shack is not welcome to do any business here anymore. There have simply been way too many forum rule violations, too many unresolved customer complaints, and quite frankly, I and other mods have been lied to by Rob way too much and for far too long. I relied on Rob to tell me his side personally, and the more he told his side, the more he kept changing his story. Enough is enough. If you continue to do business with this company, you do so at your own risk. Be VERY careful about sending this guy money. I know that a lot of you try to back Rob up because he's a local guy, but keep this in mind--so are some of the people he has jacked around.

Everyone will always have their own opinions and inputs, that's just how life is. The people that have had a good experience with Robert will continue to do so, and the one's that haven't won't. To this day Rotary Shack is still developing new relationships with new customers and having great experiences more and more. I will continue helping to ensure these sort of things don't happen again as I'm sure it's not a fun experience for the buyers to go through.
1--the quality of the parts takes time
2--people keep changing their orders
In this case, neither of those proved to be the reason. Remember--you took on the role of Rob's voice in here...this stuff comes with that choice. It isnt your fault of course that Rob acts the way he does, but let's face facts--Rob was plain and simply 100% dead wrong with that attitude. Whats worse, when I publicly asked him to explain why he sent that email to a customer, he publicly responded by saying "I call BS, produce that supposed email". Lies are all we are seeing, and there isnt a thing in the world you can say to us that changes that.
In terms of Brian "Max Power", the reason Robert said what he said to you in that email is because you made it seem like he never replied to your emails, or calls, and basically ignored him and didn't care about his business with you, which is not true. He has replied to tons of emails, spoken to you over the phone multiple times, and more.
You've continually changed your order as time has gone on, and for that a longer wait was the outcome. Coming on here and making him look like **** and saying all those things mentioned previously while he is trying to get your order completed is not necessary.
He offered you a full refund because you were obviously displeased with the customer satisfaction, you didn't accept, you said you were willing to wait and yet still came on here and said more stuff. Hopefully, sooner than later, your order will be completed and you won't have to deal with him anymore.
I appreciate the mods taking whatever necessary actions they see fit in this situation and hopefully going forward we can avoid more problems like this for everyone on the forum.

The real lose here is to the rx7 club and its members. Banning Robert and the Rotary Shack from doing business here and helping others. I have been a customer of Robert's for a while now and I will say he goes above and beyond in most cases for customers. There will always be a few customers that just can't be helped in the way they see fit. If every customer who had a positive experience with the Rotary Shack posted, it would surely out weigh the bad experiences.
When I first met Robert and would be checking out my project at the shop, his phone would ring non stop and still does when we go to lunch. The calls he would take would be from RX7 club forum members asking about advise on tuning or fixing there car. I was amazed how much time he spent helping these people with advise, some who had never even bought anything from him. I suggested he should charge for his time and advise. Robert said he just likes helping people keep rotaries on the road.
Roller, don't bother picking apart my post as you have done to all that have portrayed Robert in a positive way. I don't care what you have to say, I would just like to have Rotary Shack back here on the forum.

Yes. Lets do this.
Until then there is no need to banter back and forth about this matter on the forum.
RotaryShack is done here until further notice.
If you need to contact them you know where to find them.
Thanks.
