anyone know a good place to do a top speed run?

the 15 superspeedway is a little too bumpy for that...

anyone been to the dry lake bed in adelanto lately? it was full of bumps and tire tracks last time i was out there. so, anyone know of anywhere acceptable for ~180-190ish mph?

It's called the 505 salt-flats, in between I-5 and I-80 here in Northern California. Best place

is near Puta Creek! No cops, no traffic, smooth road. Made it to S.F. Airport and back home

late one night with an average speed of 92mph on a 195 mile run!

norcal is too far for me, but it wouldn't take too long to get there at 180

if you go to the desert and lay cardboard on the ground, it'd work fine because you are going to be going so fast, you will be hovering 1cm above the cardboard.

norcal is rather desolate compared to socal, best suggestion i could give for a safe high speed run is in the deserts east of LA.

i've hit ~165 on the 71, and 155 on the 10 last night (ambiguously), but i really wanna go till the rev limiter kicks in. i'll set it at 9k and see if i can hit 200mph.

i tagged the rev limiter in 5th gear on that stretch in my old fc, but i thought downhill would be cheating.

No cops and you can go as fast as you can off where Box and X Streets meet.
