in Ohio before i moved here, i never had a problem finding a junk yard or "auto recycler" that would buy your old CATs for a decent price..is there anywhere around here that does that???!! i called a few and they all turned me away...

pretty much.. there was a buy buying cats on the forum last year for like 70$ each. your better off calling a scrap yard and seeing if they will take it for the expensive metals inside.

I remember that... Wanting FD cats for $70 then that dude would turn around and sell it to a scrap yard for $300 bucks.

I work in a dealership, we have metal guys coming all the time to come and try to pick up cats. The scrap metal business is dying, cats are the only thing worth money anymore.
