^ It's 6hrs from Patterson to Santa Ana. If you need race gas, you can get it in Modesto or i'll have some. Steve allways brings his own equipment, just not a dyno "lol".
Just got off the phone with the shop now... I'm awaiting a call back to make sure they are not racing that weekend. If all is well, we'll have some dates and we can start to get the deposits in. Its looking like it's going to be the first weekend in August. That way I have two weeks to take deposits. Steve needs at least 3 weeks advanced notice for his plane travel.
yup i need race gas ! ... ok so if he makes it down count me in .... the price is 350 ?... its fine even if he charges 500 im down ... its alot of money saved for me by not buying the data logit ...
so im willing to take the 6 hour drive ....
oh yeah will they get street tuned or on a dyno ?... will he charge more if car has methonal inj or sumthing like that ? im almost 100% sure im down.....

Awesome, first week of August sounds awesome, I'm almost positive I'll have my car ready by then. Just waiting to send the deposit...
My motor is being dowel-pinned so I'd like to try running race gas, too.

Just use stronger engine pins.. speed machine has some badass ones they are testing.
Just thought i'd put that out.. I'm sure someone will argue. But it's not going to change my mind.. I've seen first hand how they do almost nothing =P
If we get enough people to pitch in for race gas.. maybe we can get two drums (100gallons) and just use it at the shop. Might be a worthwhile idea....

If yhe is trailoring the FD from Modesto I can get the Race gas wholesale (large drum). Otherwise I have 3 or 4 5 gal drums of 100 and 110 oct premuim Sonoco. I don't think i'll need more then 5 gal of 110.

I'll be doing the swap in stages and driving the car around with the 13b installed between the periods I'll be working on the car.
