I have no idea if I can make this one or not. I had planed on just driving to Texas when my car was complete. Allthough, that was when gas was $2/gal. Maybe Bush will pay for my gas with his oil stock profits?

I might have a car that needs a Steve Kan tune, I wouldn't want to hurry things up though, want to make sure it has a drivetrain that can handle the power and a properly set up fuel system, etc.

Yeah and i ran out of fuel pump at 19psi, i got my 2nd pump sitting right here.. about to order all the line and fittings from summit.. then going to have dual pumps. So when steve is back, the methanol system will be all -AN and I'll have a dual pump. This way I can do 22psi on pump+methanol, and then do a 27-30psi tune on C16 =)

What methanol injection setup are you running and how much (% of methanol to fuel) are you using and/or what size injectors?

I am running a custom setup from snow performance.

The methanol comes on at 8psi (which i'll be changing to 13-14psi later, when kan is back for the retune).

The nozzles are 375ml a piece (375cc, and I run two) Meaning.. 750cc of methanol. You can get larger nozzles if you want, but these are more than enough.

The way it works is... the methanol comes on and the mixture riches.. so you just lean out the fuel.. steve did the tune and I haven't bothered to open up the maps that he did for me.

I don't like their nozzle setup, it uses compression fittings and I'm just going to use AN fittings on the nozzle connections and run some steel braided line. But the methanol system itself is great.

I have a 220psi pump, but i put a 150psi check valve in line.. so it's limiting my flow of methanol. I'm going to eliminate that check valve (no need for it anyway it was just me being over protective) and that'll push more flow through the nozzles... I'll have to lean it out caues it'll be way too damn rich after i remove it... I figure I'll just turn the pump down to 150psi (since it has an adjustable screw for the power level).

Anyway... any questions on the seutp, let me know.

I emailes Steve but he must be out of town. The last tour he has listed on the RotaryX site is in Canada. It doesn't go in to next month. I don't think it's been updated, has past dates still on there.

I am getting some Sonoco GT Plus 110. I don't know what's available local but most likely only the GT 100.

I have two more trips coming up so far. There were talks in NYC and FL wanting me in July/August but nothing was confirmed at this time.

St. Louis July 1st.
Montreal July 8th.
