ALMS & SPEED World Challenge races at Infineon July 16&17

I'm flying in to Sacramento on Monday to visit family and prepare for the race. Anyone planning on going? Any 7 meets planned in nor cal the same weekend? Love to see some California flavour 7's or late night car abuse...

You'll have a chance again at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca in October. I'll be going to that. OR... check it out at Sevenstock

I'll be at the race, my car is on slicks, so bringing it is a bit of a problem. My cell is 707-696-2705. I live ~45 minutes from infineon. PM me your number, and what, and where you'll be pitted. Here's my California flavor FC, Tuning at 20&25 psi with a 67mm turbo tomorrow with Brian Cain.

Landed at 9 last night. I'm staying in Fairfield. I live in Toronto so I can't do any cage work here but can point you in the right direction idea wise. Ask for Jason at the SCCA Speed World Challenge Officials trailer if you're kicking around. Carl I'll try and ring you tomorrow after getting settled, thanks. Anything else going on around here?

Jason, I believe there is a real nice food and wine festival where the ALMS cars drive from the track to the neighboring city of Sonoma on Saturday evening. Wednesday night at Infineon there is usually Drag racing. I might go with the FC, but probably not, as my brakes are not fully sorted. If you'ld like to hook up for dinner with my family, and perhaps some other racers, and Rotorheads on Friday, Sat, or Sunday evening LMK. If you come to my house we can go for a ride in my 500rwhp FC widebody, and you can give me some ideas for improving my Kirk cage if you feel like it. Fairfield is about an hour from me, and ~40 minutes from the track, are you locked into staying there? There are places alot closer. Either way, we'll hook up for sure. My buddy will be working with one of the Star Mazda teams this weekend, so I'll invite him also, usually he is the crew chief for the Spoon Racing USTCC car. I'll be taking ALOT of pictures this weekend looking for all the latest aero tricks that I can incorporate into my FC. Talk to you soon, Carl

BTW, if you are just hanging at the track before the weekend, I can swing by on my lunch.

So, who else is going? I'll be at the track Saturday all day. I'm going to swing by the track Friday to say hello to Jason since he has a bit of a break in the afternoon.

I've gone the past 3-4 years, so I will probably go again, especially since the 3-rotor courage will be competing.

Someone was telling me that it's not a 20b it's 3 rotor based off the rx 8 motor. It's supposed to be the same block for the new rx7. can anyone confirm or deny this?

I talked to them today, but did not ask either. Why wouldn't it be a 20B E shaft?
