Body/Paint shop
Anyone in the SoCal area gotten their RX-7s (3rd gen) repainted at a body shop recently that they would recommend? I'd prefer the shop to be familiar and have experience with 3rd gens, and am looking for high quality work.. It's brilliant black, and I plan to install a 99 spec bumper, wing, tail lights, and then have the car repainted stock brilliant black. So it's not going to have a fancy body kit but I'd still like to see attention to detail.. all the lines flowing perfectly, etc...

My car right now is at a paint shop called Sixteen Customs. They're repainting my Vintage Red RX-7 to Innocent Blue Mica. They're doing a very extensive job: fixing all dents and holes, removing antenna and rear windshield wiper, installing '99 Spec. front bumper and wing and A'PEX sideskirts. I'm taking my MazdaSpeed Carbon Fiber Hood to them as soon as I get it for a clear coat and installation. They really know their stuff, but their price is pretty hefty. Original price was around $7,800 but they lowered it to $6,000. The guys there are really nice. They even had a painted-and-ready DRFT front bumper for Motorex's RX-7. They're located in Gardena, California. You can reach them at 1 (310) 715-1810. If you want, you can wait a few weeks and I can post pictures of their work. Hope this helps.
