To all you noobs that just refuse to do a freaking search

The replies of "I did a search and didn't find anything" is getting really annoying too. Yeah, doing a search for "rotary shop in butt-****-egypt-city-that-doesn't-have-a-rotary-shop" isn't gonna get you too many hits. Yeah, I know... doing a search for just "rotary mechanic" brings up too many hits. Guess why it brings up so many freaking hits. It's because noobs go and create a brand new thread instead of searching and reading through all the noob threads that came before.
Can we instate a rule where we start banning people for creating "Need help finding a shop" and the sighting threads? Since everyone's left the board and we don't hijack those threads anymore, they just don't add any value to the west region. Yeah, I can probably just start hijacking threads like the old days, but I'm a little out of practice.
Btw, for those of you keeping track, I've been bumming smokes for the last couple of weeks. I blame wackyracer for getting me started again.

That's why I started the threads for SoCal Rotary shops and NorCal Rotary Shops. But after a few people posted in them they went dead. I'll bring them back and sticky them if I can find them though. I hate seeing all of those repetitive threads in my section too.
So for all the noobs. READ OVER THE STICKY THREADS AT THE TOP OF THIS SECTION!!

Yes sir, your sw20 can be smog exempted. Dunno why people prefer to pay every two years. When you can exempt it once and get over it. It is almost like getting a tooth pulled every other birthday. Smog exemption is the best freakin mod ever!

am I the only one that gets pissed at the pretentious ******** that scream to use the search? I say this because when I do a search, most of the results say "USE THE SEARCH" or any links in a 3 year old thread are dead. And because nobody feels like putting any input into new threads of the same topic, nobody puts anything FRESH on the table. I really hate this behavior. Forums go to **** because of this.

Pay attention. The reason that all these new threads say to do a freaking search is because we don't want to keep typing the same responses. The problem exists because people are unwilling to do any legwork before asking for help. I want a useful search function. That doesn't happen when I get a million pages of noobs asking the same thing.
It comes down to this. This forum is here for people to share information. It's not here for the noobs to come in, ask a question that's been asked a million times already, then never show up again until they have another question. That's just rude to everyone else. If they're not considerate enough to do a simple search before asking, I don't think anyone here is obligated to be nice to them.

(I already know you'll reply and be even more pissed and probably have a hernia, so just save yourself the trouble....just another thought)
