im not much of a fd dude but i know the 118k on an original fd engine is pretty sketchy since they usually blow at around 80k. <--- dont quote me on this thou im not 100% sure. turbo leak can be fixed easy just going to take a little elbow grease and knowledge. same thing for radiator.

Sounds like your already asking for approval, and ignoring the other responses as usual someone already convinced of their purchase in your case pre purchase...Go get your car and turn some wrenches.

Possible radiator leak? As in it's losing coolant or can you visibly see coolant dripping out? And $12,000 for 118***miles is a little high, I bought my FD with 120*** for $7,000 and it ran perfect with only a small oil leak and boost leak. If your just getting into rotary make sure you can keep up wIth the maintanence.

What does an engine rebuild run for this car $5-6K? look it up now because before the end of the year you will need to get it done. Or better yet go see what $18k will buy you.. That could be a nice reliable S2000 or a S2000 and a Miata...

OP,
Check out this thread for what to look for before buying an FD:
https://www.rx7club.com/3rd-generation-specific-1993-2002-16/faq-3rd-gen-other-useful-links-68640/
You left out a lot of info we would need to help you make a better decision:
- Condition (interior & exterior)?
- Paint (has it been repainted)?
- What color combo & type of FD?
- What kind of upgrades, if any?
- Original engine, or has it been replaced?
- Compression test results?
- Suspension upgrades, if any?
- Wheels/tires?
- Does everything work so you can smog it?
If it is completely stock, then I would venture to say 12k is a little high. If original motor, then I would budget for a rebuild. For that extra money, I would focus on a car that has been taken care of, vice buying a project.
