Hi. I'm an Air Force Veteran who served from 1978 to 2000. I worked in Aircraft Maintenance from 1978 to 1993 at which time I retrained into Space Operations. I worked with the F5-E Aggressors at Nellis, AFB in Las Vegas and in the Philippines at Clark AB. I then went to Columbus AFB, MS, Zweibrucken AB, Germany and RAF Woodbridge and Bentwaters in the UK. During those assignments I worked on T-37's, RF4-C's, and A-10's. I then returned to the States and re-trained into Space Operations in Colorado Springs and in Denver, Colorado from 1993 to 2000. I've operated several satellite constellations performing different missions. I currently live in Longmont, Colorado and work for Maxar, Inc., providing satellite imagery to customers and missions around the planet.

Thanks for sharing your rich history with the USAF! The Air Force Veteran Banner is added to your profile. Did you work on any camera components of the RF-4Cs? I formerly worked on the F-14 TARPS pod, so I'm familiar with a small set of cameras used in aerial reconnaissance.

As a Crew Chief, my only interaction with the cameras was to make sure that the glass on the nose of the fuselage was clean! We were the last reconnaissance squadron to leave Europe when Zweibruecken closed in 1991. The final real-world deployment for the Wing was sending eight aircraft to Incrilik AB Turkey, and fly BDA sorties to Iraq in support of Operation Desert Storm.
