rotary shop liquidation sale

after many years i think the time has come and recent events time for me to close the shop up. likely i will still do some side work and tuning sessions but the shop hasn't really been profitable since moving so i'm going to be selling most everything including my '00 Ducati supersport($4500 firm).

i will be finishing up the work in the shop(yes Nick i will finish it) and probably keep the majority of the tools to use on personal cars and to build my FC and the 4 rotor with.

i have several sets of rotor housings i can sell as is in decent condition or resurface them prior to sale for additional charges. also a number of mid and rear irons and a small few front irons for various 2nd and 3rd gen engines along with all series minus S5 n/a rotors. many engine parts for just about everything except 12A.

if you want a short block built and have no core, well now i'm not hesitant to let all these parts go, let me know what you need. most of the engine parts are already cleaned and ready for assembly so i can slap blocks together rather quickly. find a better price for the quality and i wish you luck.

air flow meters, ECU's, wiring harnesses, flywheels, new Exedy TII 3 puck clutch and new RB non turbo pressure plate, S4 and S5/6 rear counterweights, fiberglass FC sunroof, new fiberglass FC triple gauge pod for the idiot cluster(has a small crack that can easily be repaired), fiberglass/PB FC rear sub box with 4 10" pioneers.

tons of parts shelving, bead roller, few compact fridges, 2 32" LCD display monitors and a 60gallon stainless steel parts washer.

most anything except body panels and interior pieces. i have a number of engine seal kits and internal gaskets for most late series engines.

just ask and i'll see if i have it. reasonable offers please, i have no problem putting the stuff into storage until i find the right buyers.

i also have a non titled, complete, partially restored '74 REPU with bucket seats for $1k, DLDFI mostly complete with FC leading ignitor/coil and FB J109 dizzy.

or if someone wants to start up a business i'll let it all go including tools(snap-on rollaway box alone set me back $7500 not including the tools in it), bike, truck and quad for $40k, i'll even throw in my FC for $5k more. hell, i'll even do an apprenticeship for a month if someone bought the whole package.

This makes me sad! I've read alot of your posts and was hoping one day I could do an internship at your shop and become your pupil.

When I take a trip to Vegas ill look ya up and see if you'd let me become your padawan lol

Good luck and hope this turns out well!

it's been a battle for me for a number of years, one i just can't take anymore. can't say i didn't give it 110%.

but who knows, maybe i'll be working on Bentleys in a month or so and actually be able to put gas in the car and not have to work 80 hours a week for $150 profit per week. it has just worn me out completely.

anyways, enough of the sob story. buy some stuff people so i don't have to find a larger storage unit!

will get pics of the rest in the next few days, the sub box is up in a storage area so i will have to take it down.

Times are tough for my shop as well. Seems everyone is having a DIY attitude, which is fine except for we the small business owners.

Ben, you've been there whenever I needed help on my FD man.
It truly is sad for me to see you close up shop.
I hope you stick around the forums and continue to support the community.
Good luck my friend.

Sad to see you go man.

How much would it be for either an S4 n/a, or an S4 TII? I've got blown seals and I plan to go turbo anyway.

unfortunately i don't have a complete set of REW irons left, i have the center and rears in stock but no front irons left(they seem to break first out here)

for soft seals:
coolant seal seal kit for a 2 rotor is $80
dowel pin o-ring set $10
oil filter pedestal o-rings $5
rear stat gear o-ring $6
front cover o-ring $3
F+R main seals $12

shipping $6

don't have oil control o-rings in stock left

without a core:
S4 n/a $1600
S4 TII $2000 (large streetport irons by Judge Ito, don't have any other irons left)

shipping ranges from $100-250 depending on location. you can have my mazda reman crate to save the headache of fabbing yet another engine crate from scratch.

unfortunately no vert ECUs on hand, or S5 TII.

i have a GTUs style wing(not the duckbill) for $75 plus shipping(shipping will be a little spendy on such a large piece, likely about $40 or so).

assuming you mean the oil filler neck, with the oil filler cap attached. yes i have an S5 n/a one. $10 plus shipping. fits into a small flat rate box so $6 for shipping for a total of $16 shipped.

we're planning on moving to florida but i likely won't be doing the shop again. rotaries are a niche market and the big shops are sucking up all the big customers. california and florida are likely the only places a smaller shop can survive but it's already worn on me. i still will finish your FTP's by the way, i haven't forgotten.

even the 500whp dyno i did hardly impressed the honda kids here, even though i had some inquiries i just don't envision a rotary shop surviving in this desert. plenty of 8's but even with references and word of mouth 99% of them still go to the dealer, so my hope that the 8's would would eventually sustain business has turned to a pile of dust.
