FD Electric Water Pump Kits

I would also like to add that TurboSmart has been running one of the smaller ( EWP115) pumps on their 500rwhp time attack FC for over 5 years. It also their test mule which undergoes a lot of stress testing for their wastegate products.

just ordered! we are doing a complete cooling system overhaul and what better to relieve some stress on the motor than a EWP kit! Looking forward to installing a high quality part

Davies Craig EWP115( 30 gallon per hour) even smaller than the EWP150(40 gallon) that we use in our kits found on the Turbosmart Time Attack FC. This car has been running this pump for over 5 years at no less than 500rwhp. It is also TurboSmarts test vehicle. It goes through a lot of thermal stress testing for their WG products.
As you can see with the traditional configuration( pictured) you have to run a radiator usually in FMIC fashion with a fill neck.
Our race kit will have the fill neck, and pressure cap assembly built in. You can then use this kit with a stock placement or VMOUNT kits. The fill cap/pressure cap must be the highest location in the coolant system. Also it will act as a AST system too.

One of the points you make is "This does not require an alternator relocation bracket". However, the installed pic shows the alternator relocated. Did I miss something here?
Is the NOT the actual kit? Are we still waiting on pictures?
In the meantime, a few questions:
1) Will this fit with all other OEM components? Intercooler, airbox, A/C & P/S?
2) Can this be controlled by an aftermarket ECU, specifically the Adaptronic PnP? The controller is "cool" but I hate having excess gadgets if I don't have to.
3) Are warm up time effected by this kit?

We have two versions. We do not have pictures of the street EWP kit yet. The street fits ALL oem parts. I am working on the control strategy for use with configurable standalones like the Adaptronic. Warm up time will be affected slightly as the thermostat is removed(keep in mind that the pump will NOT be pumping during this time). Are we talking enough time to be worried? I do not think so at all... One could just set the cold rev limiter in the ECU...

The way I set it up, is you will have a dedicated relay for the pump with a ground trigger. The ECU has programable outputs that you have have triggered on temps, so once set up it will send a ground pulse to the relay and then the pump will start to flow.
I will put together a "how to" soon to demonstrate the set up.

Also, will the FC kit be packaged with the smaller pump that Turbosmart is running or the larger one in the FD kit?
