Adaptronic modular FC S4 & S5 ECUs now available

The select models of these plug and play are now superceded by the new modular design. The s4 ecus feature an additional connector for the additional I/0 and access to the expansion slot.

Bad link?

Copied the URL and pasted into my browser and got 404 Not Found error. Can you update the link?

Adaptronic link doesn't work.

Now that is hilariously appropriate. Can't even make this stuff up.

Sometimes year-old links can point to pages that are no longer there

Just means someone didnt think too hard when they posted it and then changed everything too many times afterwards without without any real forethought.... again, seems hilariously appropriate.

NO, it's simply a 301 Error that needed to be forwarded on the Back-End. Countless old page links work PERFECTLY when you build in a 301 to forward them to the new link. Ohh, sorry, KNOW the internet.

What I ALSO see here is a typo on the forum. **** happens, but this **** is funny.

Turblown and potential customers,

The offending remarks made by Skeese were classified as "thread crapping". The member was penalized at an appropriate level. Please keep any further comments relevant to the sale of items offered by the Vendor.

I don't get it. This forum is FULL of things that need moderated, yet you chose this thread.

"Thread Crapping," by your definition is indicating an error on this forum (the inability for the OP to edit the original posting) in which they hastily created without proper Port Forwarding as indicated in my comment. What Skeese did is a "Free Bump" and actually HELPED Turblown with both bumping the thread and making a mistake visibly apparent.

I get it, Vendors pay for advertising on this forum, but this is the wrong way to treat a member who has continually fact checked bullshit, built out excel files for helping others tuning, and genuinely one of the smartest people on here. You are totally out of line.

*Edit* I just saw that you banned Skeese.

Here, let me remind you why that was a really bad decision:

RGHTBrainDesign,

This is NOT a discussion appropriate in a Vendor's For Sale thread. Please re-familiarize yourself with the Forum's code of conduct and classified rules. I request you comply with the forum rules with Post #10. You may consider this a verbal warning.

Really surprised and that shot from the hip. He wasn’t poking turbosource at all, just the early versions of the adaptronic ECU’s.

Sorry George, I'll link this here for everyone else to see.

"No thread crapping. Not limited to but including posts referencing to the price or the quality of the product being offered, whether you dislike the item, etc...remember, it is a for sale thread not a poll or opinion thread. The key is, if you are not interested in buying it then there is really no reason to post anything at all in the thread. If you have something that you feel might help the member with the sale, then please PM that member. Remember to be polite and courteous when doing so."

Honestly George, I know you're trying to do the right thing here, but this isn't as per the Code of Conduct. However, as per the Code of Conduct, I am not making an attack on you, the moderator, nor complaints or criticisms. "Hopefully we'll make decisions that are considered "correct" by the majority of the community."

Disappointing to see Skeese banned, that was most certainly a poor choice. Matches the culture and direction of this forum though. I hope you don't read Amazon reviews with that mentality... Would have to ban all those ignorant people too.

Don't be a jerk to vendors. Clear case of thread crapping. Probably a temp ban. Not the end of the world.

Yeah..no lie I was a bit surprised when I was banned for a comical poke compared to the things that get said on the forums in general. Its whatever really, after this post I'll be keeping to the technical forums as sales, and apparently comedy, do not appear to be my strong suit.

Thanks John. To be fair the mod who banned me contacted me and expressed regret that it went down the way it did without me being contacted or warned first so no harm no foul in my book. My aim is to continue to provide valid technical input to those still willing to read to learn on here to help keep the forums alive and relevant in the presence of the technical sink holes of social media in which the car scene is drowning.

Thanks for the support man. This is correct, I received a rotary engine themed diaper cake at work today from my coworkers in celebration of having a 1st born last week, you wanna talk about a moment of realization that you are in...real deep.

Thanks to all for the support. This will be my last post in the vendor forums and to all I wish the best of luck. Sorry for thread crapping. In the spirit of good faith, HERE is a link to the turbosource adaptronic page should anyone wish to travel down that path. In theory...it should work.

Glad to see you back, Skeese. This forum is slowly turning into social media bickering and sales without informative, intellectual posts like yours and a few others on here. Hey look, the link is correct!

I've noticed a similar behavior with the latest post lying invisible, and it usually clears up after some time. It could be a back end-syncing issue or varnish or some other downstream proxy issue. It's always cleared up for me after a few hours.
