I hope this is true because mine is down for a cam install right now, lol.

Making the power to run 10s comes like nothing on an LS engine, its too easy to make these engines more powerful, its the driver skill needed to run that time.

Car will be insanely fast no doubt. Which cam did you go with??

I'm going to have to take a look at the sheet we printed out when I get home, I know it is similar to an MS3 cam but with some changes for a smoother idle. The goal is to have virtually the same horsepower under 3K for when I'm just cruising and pull like a raped ape after, haha.

when your v8 was cheaper than a basic 13B rebuild...plus with w/ 2x the power and 3x the torque

...and unless a carb'd 400CI... gets better gas mileage

FYI , some could consider me a "purist", but I like a challenge... I want to do the most/best I can w/ a NA 13B, same as I want to do the best I can in competition w/ street tires, instead of goin full race rubber.

I like sports cars regardless, and just have my own standards I set for myself. I may not consider doin a V8 in my Rx, but I know for damn sure a V8 7 will trump me in 95% of the circumstances

A friend of mine bought a blown fox body last night. I followed him home to make sure it was safe. I learned very quickly that the seven does not like 2 players (scrapes like crazy) and that a 5.0 on 1 bar is very slow compared to the my stock LS1 equipped 7.

I say race rubber and race suspension on my street car ftw, lol. Although sometimes my *** and my back pay the price after driving for too long.

You may have a swapped rx-7 if... You have more torque than horsepower.

You may have a swapped RX7 when you see another RX7 at a car show and ask the owner what kind of motor is that and he say's it's a rotary.

We were at one of the SNS (Seven Not Stock) V8 RX7 meets a couple years back and all pulled into a huge car show. There were ~15-16 piston RX7s (mostly V8, one 1JZ as well I think) all together. A guy pulled up in a rotary powered FD. It was funny to watch the confusion on everyone's faces when they looked at that car and tried to figure out why it had a different engine.

I've been in more than one LS1 RX7 that leaves the line at ~8000 RPM. Not all of us shift at 6500 RPM. LOL
