came to this realization yesterday
I know I own a swapped seven because; every time I spot a GMC, Chevy truck or sports car I automatically start processing parts I can use off of it. Then follow the thoughts by how much it would cost to get those same parts

Then you're not long for this forum. Take the good advice given and walk away. This corner of the site was built so nitwits wouldn't whine about V-8 swaps in their rotary subforums. I dropped in by accident, not invitation, which means you got some bad karma going. Walk away while you can

When you go to the auto parts store and the guy at the counter says..
1. "thats the strangest looking corvette ive ever seen" hahahaha..
2. or when you pull up and people start looking around and tell you that they thought they heard a vette pull up..
3. also not only is 2nd your new first but the only gears you use or need in your car now is 2nd 5th and 6th.. and you can still out accelerate most other cars on the road..

last night I pulled into wawa and there was only one spot available. it was between a late 90's T/A and a later 80's Mustang cobra.
they walked up looking at my car and I said that they both had sexy cars and they laughed so I laughed, they asked why I laughed. I said because I have your steering rack and rear end (pointing to the cobra) then looked at the other guy and asked his year, he said 99, so I said yep, I got your motor too, lol. they both were dumb founded and said prove it. I popped the hood and hilarity ensues.
turns out they were techs at a local fix your car type shop. one was the chevy guy and the other was a ford guy. both running stock motors with juice. I didnt race them and talked in detail about some issues I am having with fuel delivery, minor efficiency problems, and steering.
in the end I got a couple of really cool guys numbers to hang out later.
I also got cornered in the store by a member here who owns a 3rd gen RX7 and we discussed meeting up for a group tech day or something.
