Trying to muck up another thread, eh? Yes I realize there's different ways of "tuning" cars (I'd prefer the term "building" as there is really only one good way to actually tune a car, and that is well), but that still doesn't mean it hasn't become cookie cutter-esque. Look at the Supra crowd, or the DSM crowd... I mean, sure it's nice to have a thoroughly beaten path to follow, but sometimes it gets a bit boring.

Right, that's what I said. Thus the nice option of variation. You basically just contradicted yourself there.

What the hell are you talking about? False duality? I thought we were just comparing aspects of engines here, I don't think it requires psychological analysis...

That's why you never get one person's Opinion as your only source, you look for information, like you do a jury, "A Selection of your peers" Including age / interests etc... as well as talking to some older people, because people who say they know everything often know very little, and people who keep their mouth shut often have a lot to contribute, but know if you're not ready to hear them they're wasting their time....

And with that I'll shut up since no doubt someone will try and "Influence" me or some other poor sap, that's looking for information, and not opinions....

After seeing my friends blow up multiple turbo 13B's and turbo 20B's I'm glad I went LS1. I have 20K miles on this combo and have simply changed the oil on it and cleaned the air filter. I'm actually running the same spark plugs I put it together with.

my view might be different than the rest, but sports compact car magazine editor and writer is kind of bias against V8 powered car. instead of openly judging the pros and cons of vehicles.
